Tulsidas's line and the monarchic past
Book 5 · India: caste, gotra, brahmins, kings and culture Also: Scriptures, myths and their meaning
Guruji These days a lot of talk is being going on this chaupai - "Dhol gawar Shudra Pashu Nari ...". What are your views on it? "Dhol Gawar Shudra Pashu Nari, Sakal Taadna ke adhikari " This has been spoken by Samudra in Ramcharitmanas by Swami Tulsidas Today we are living in a democratic times. Goswami ji had the monarchy times of Treta Yug in his mind, the social conditions of those times. In that background the characters spoke their dialogues At that time no one had equal rights. Today we are living in democratic times in such social conditions with everyone being equal in front of the law
And the right and ease of living life, everyone has it. In today's perspective, no matter how intellectual we become The social conditions of monarchy times of Treta Yuga are almost impossible to imagine. In democracy times we are being so outspoken. In monarchy times no one had the guts to say anything. So the social condition and mental state of those times cannot even be imagined in current times

Time travel, other planets, the universe and long life
Book 3 · The present moment, past and future; creating your future Also: Immortality and the immortals, Gods, creation and other worlds
Guruji tell please. Is time travel possible ? I think time travel is possible. Even though we have been reading about it in so many science fictions and so many movies are on it But as a Yogi, Because our main theme is to know Time, the essence of time and consciousness of the Time If your consciousness develops to the level, that you begin to understand What time is in reality, I think you will be able to travel in any form of time Whichever, wherever you will focus, you will be there. If time accepts you as his own. So time travel is possible
Guruji what is your opinion ? Are we able to colonize the other planets and to live on them like we are living on earth ? Well I am a Hindu. Our mythology is full of it. So much space travel and from different dimensions and different planets are described in our mythology. So I am a firm believer. When Science will develop to a certain level, we will be able to live on other planets, if we want to live there. I think anything is possible. Human mind is capable of achieving anything. So have faith, imagine big and you will achieve it one day. Thank you Guruji say please , How will universe end ? So far we were just listening to so many prophecies that the world will end and this thing will end and humanity will end like dinosaurs end. Now we will need to go even high and think how universe will end
Honestly I have absolutely no idea, How universe is going to end. So maybe some physicists or some prophets or some great astrologers may be able to calculate that how universe is going to end But whatever they will calculate, I will say this is maybe billions and billions and billions of years away in the future. So it doesn't concern us. I believe life is eternal, it will continue Guruji How long can the human life be expanded ? Well, we have seen some great Yogis in India. And if we go back to our Puranas and mythology, Thousands years of lifespans are described there, when they are doing tapasya for thousands of years
And If we go to Valmiki Ramayan. When Vishwamitra was trying to become a BrahmRishi, we must read that, first with his extra ordinary effort he achieved a very long life Then he started his tapas to become a brahmrishi.I think if we have enough wisdom and support of someone very great Human life can be expanded to indefinite time. If we go to ayurveda, there are so many things about Kaya Kalpa, living for 500 years, living for 1000 years, living for a 100 thousand years are described So as a hindu, because I believe in our puranas and ayurveda, these things are possible because they have been done by someone, so they can be done.
If we do enough research, and if luck favours us and if some very achieved person is having grace on you, These things are possible Guruji how can today's youth keep a balance between a spiritual life and a material life while achieving his goals ? and progress in his life ? Can you please give a message for them Firstly, before achieving goals, we must decide, What exactly our Goal is ? An what do we want to achieve in life Then this separation that spiritual life and material life are separated from each other. As a Yogi In my view they are one and the same.

Spiritual and material, religion and spirituality
Book 5 · Character and conduct: courage, humility, confidence, honesty Also: Spirit, soul and liberation, Religions, history, society and science
God lives in your heart. Spirit is in your body. Consciousness is inside you. So whatever you are doing, weather it is allegedly material or spiritual, that you are able to do because you have god residing in your heart and spirit has given you life So whatever be it material or spiritual, in my view, they are all spiritual God is residing in your heart. Spirit is giving you life. because of life we are conscious. These are all spiritual states. The only catch is, if we understand this, then its really great. But whole life is spiritual , whether he knows it or not.
For youth , all I have to say is - Keep your thoughts clear, Always focus on your Aim. There is absolutely nothing that you cannot achieve But your research must be deep and study should be well enough. And you should have the capacity to achieve whatever you have imagined. That's all. Today Religion and Spirituality. Sometimes religious people also start calling themselves spiritual. so what is religion and spirituality ? Just now I told that whatever we are doing in life, all come under spiritual only. Spirituality - When you experience the existence of the self and spirit, when you understand the existence of your life, when you understand its beginning that is called spirituality.
Religion too takes us in that direction. Religion too, If you are not alive, spirit is not inside you or God is not residing in your heart, then you wont be able to do anything religious too. So In my view there is absolutely no difference, Both are same Both are because of spirit only , God is residing in the heart and consciousness is inside us. Because of this only we are able to do anything. No matter what we believe One more question Guruji. Tulsidas ji composed Hanuman Chalisa. Why did he compose it ? This has a very interesting story. We all are aware of(read) the life of Tuslidas Ji. His family abandoned him. Beggars took care of him. Baba Narhari das took care of him. He was his guru too.

How the Hanuman Chalisa came
Book 4 · The Ramayana: Rama, Ravana and the others Also: Gods, creation and other worlds, Mantra, tantra, ritual and powers
Afterwords, for special studies he took him to Varanasi. So at that time the most learned scholar in Varanasi was Acharya Shrestha Sanatan. He used to teach students. He was very learned. So as Tulsidas ji was very poor, so he studied as a "Bhratya Shishya" means that he did household chores of Guru's home and and used to teach also. So the other students that used to come, Some were students of tantra etc. They challenged Tulsidas ji to go on the cremation ground near Harish Chandra Ghat on a new moon night and put a nail in the ground, so we will believe your Bhakti for Hanuman to be true.
So at night when Tulsidas ji went out of his acharya's home and went till there. Because it is such an old incident , there were very less people It was dark and terrifying. So till the time he reached that cremation ground he composed the complete hanuman Chalisa. He reached there while composing it. He put the nail and blew conch 3 times. So it is believed that the place where he put the nail and blew conch shell, is the same place where Sankat mochan hanuman mandir is situated in Varanasi. I am not very sure. I would like the intellectual and learned people should find out about it. But because of this challenge, we all have got hanuman Chalisa by his grace.
