Mother Earth: her consciousness, our home and our God

The existence of Earth is the most mystical thing ever. It has gone through many suns. Nobody knows its origin. I am still trying to concentrate on that problem – where is the origin of Earth? And when the energy of this sun is over, a period of hibernation will come, but Earth will continue its journey. Then she meets a new sun, the dance of life will begin again. But she will continue her journey. I am mystified by this. I begin to think that Earth is God. She is conscious. She knows everything. And whatever she decides will happen on the surface. So that’s why a thought came into my mind: form a union with the consciousness of Earth – and you will know everything. Past, present and future of Earth you will know. And also in Indian mythology this dimension of existence is called “the dimension of death”. So she may be death herself also. That’s why Shiva lives on Earth – all gods live somewhere else, but Shiva is always on Earth. Still I am trying to figure out the mystery of Earth.

In Yoni-mudra the circle of life appears to be black and white. If you look at Earth’s photograph – dark in the middle and the atmosphere all around is golden. So maybe only this technique will make you form the union with the consciousness of Earth. And every science is a study of one aspect of Earth’s nature – whether it is Physics or Biology. We are trying to study the nature of Earth. She is the biggest mystery. Basis of our life. Creator of life as well. She [Earth] is death herself. So she is moving all over the Universe, taking life from other planets and preserving it on herself. That’s why we see so much variety on Earth: from smaller stuff virus to bigger stuff animals. She is taking very good care – she is preserving all genetic records. And she is taking us somewhere. That is a question – where she is taking us. What will be the end of the journey? Earth only survives. Even when Shiva (as it is described) is doing his thunder to finish off – Earth always survives, only surface people disappear.

Somebody wanted to ask me “You know there is God”, I told him “Yes, I know there is God”. I said I’m living on God. She is our God. She provides us with everything. And in old mythology the name given to the God means “who has gold in his womb”. And see – all gold is in Earth’s womb. Inside Earth is gold. This God gives us everything. Look at it from another point of view. We have never been able to create anything new. We take everything from Earth, reshape it and use it. Everything is from Earth. And you cannot leave Earth. That is the biggest wonder. Earth is also called Kali-Krishna of dark color. She gives us blessing. She is killing us also. And after killing she continues to hold us also. Even after death you are on Earth. Even if you will go to outer space you will have to create the atmosphere of Earth and take it with you. Only then we will survive. If you are advanced to that level, then you can leave Earth.

Indians say that spirit is a very high thing; very few people are able to reach that state. The next body that you receive is when your astral body is not actually astral, it is built with air element. And even when you are living, or you are dead, or you become a god, you existence will depend on Earth: while we are living we get everything from Earth, when we die – either we are cremated, either we are buried on Earth. And if you become a god, you will be worshipped on Earth, your temples will be built on Earth and all the rituals will be done on Earth. Ultimately all gods’ duty is to provide rains and other things only on Earth. Nowhere else you will ever hear that something was done on another planet – only on Earth. So she is the queen of all the Universe. And the most beautiful looking. We are all connected with the gravity’s force and many other things. Maybe she is the Shakti of time. Time is called “Kal”, and Earth can be called “Kali”. So they complement each other.

The planet will continue to survive, but we have little time. I was calculating once – Earth time and human time: 100 years of human life comes only as 1/700 points of the 1 second of Earth time. It’s not time.

I remember one sci-fi story relative to the topic we are discussing. There were some microbes, bacteria living on the cheek of a man. One day they started to discuss among themselves if there are intelligent life forms on other planets. There was one highly religious virus, who said: “No! God created us in its exact way so we are an exact copy of God and the only intelligent beings in the Universe”. There are no other intelligent life forms. And there was one atheist virus, who said: “You are talking about God? Where is it? If there is a God, why did He make all his children suffer? Yesterday I fell and hurt my back, prayed to get rid of pain — and no God came to prevent it!” In general all microbes agreed their world was very strange as they observed natural phenomena: suddenly big clouds moved in the sky, sometimes a severe water flood would come; then sudden earthquakes, growth of strange plants, their extension — and then other clouds would come as the Man would take the shower, shave and change his clothes. Viruses continued to argue about God. Suddenly something big came from outer space to the cave, where they were living and cleaned them up. There was a smell of antiseptic – and microbes were no more. Man had shaved and applied after-shave lotion on his cheeks. I think we are in the same league

Human body is made up of the very same gross elements, which are all present in the earth. This human body is sometimes called an earthly body. Inside every body a spritit and and an individual consciousness are present. The chemical elements, which make up the human body, are all there in the earth and in the water and in the air, forming different combinations and entities. So, it could be presupposed that the Earth herself should have a spirit and a consciousness of her own. The Earth is actually a living planet. She has a very unique consciousness.

Human body is believed to be a very fortunate shell for a spirit. It is mentioned in many Vedic scriptures that even Gods aspire to obtain a human reincarnation because only on this very planet, the Earth, certain spiritual achievements are possible to be made. This happens because the Earth is actually a very special Being. She cares about us, looks after us like a mother cares for her children. She nourishes our bodies and minds as well.

The Earth gives us everything to make our earthly journey comfortable. So many creatures of all kinds live on this planet, and she provides food for all of them. There is another parallel. Without being conscious about this happening, human body feeds millions of bacteria and viruses. Their existence depends solely on the human body, like the lives of all the creatures living on earth depend on the Earth herself. Being made up of billions of individual sells, human body is still whole in its totality. Consisting of the innumerous number of living beings, the Earth is still single.

So there is some similarity between human consciousness and universal consciousness of this planet. Even more interesting, this planet was here far longer than the Sun. Our Earth has seen many suns. When the light of one sun fades, she will meet another sun, and the dance of life will continue. The Earth is the eldest lady round here.

The Eternal Religion, Life and Death

"Guruji, I was watching a documentary about Pygmy people on TV. It was amazing that in all their activities and songs they were thanking Nature from morning to evening."

Guruji: "Yes, they are Nature worshipers. They live according to Nature, including most native tribes of Africa and and even Americas. Nature is the eternal religion, as we are living with Nature. And as soon as our behavior goes against Nature, we don't experience anything except sorrow and frustration. Imagine someone who can understand his own nature and also Earth's nature. How glad he will be, how close he'll feel close to Earth!"

"Does knowing Nature mean knowing natural laws like gravitation, etc, or something more subtle?"

Guruji: "Think of it this way: Let's say you made friends with somebody, so there will be rapport between your nature and his nature. You don't necessarily have to figure out how his finger is working or the coffee that he just drank how is it getting digested inside him. Those things are no longer important. It’s a feeling! When somebody starts feeling the nature of mother Earth, for them it's not important why did this tree grow and how did it grow. If I know Her, I'll accept the tree as part of Her. Will not add my own conditions that it should like grow this and not like that. When we accept Nature and start understanding its beauty, we'll accept it in its totality. That's intimacy.

"Say you fall in love with someone. You won't process how frequently she's blinking or how many hair does she have on her head or show fast they are growing. If she sneezed, at how many miles per hour the wind went out of her nostrils (laughs). You'll accept her in totality. If we are tuned-in or intimate with Earth's nature or have fallen in love with Her, we won't question these things. And if I'm tuned enough, may be I'd prefer living in a cave which Nature has made Herself, instead of corrupting Her landscape. When there's the feeling of love, there's no feeling to dominate, only acceptance. This is true friendship, it's very rare but must happen.

the thought of whom?

Guruji: universal mind. As we are living on Earth – so maybe this is the mind of Mother Earth which is working like that. We are just a neurons of it. Think big! Instead of universal mind – let’s say it’s the mind of Earth. She’s living being – so she must be having thoughts also, emotions also, everything.

She is sending every spirit to take birth on the Earth?

Guruji: maybe She’s not even aware of it: we’re not aware how many bacteria are taking birth and dying in our body. There are millions and millions of bacteria, living on us. We’re not concern about single bacteria. She may not even be aware that we are there. The time frame is very different. We calculated once: 1 second of Mother Earth is about 700 years of human beings. It’s very difficult for her to even notice us. That’s way some civilizations are takes centuries and maybe thousands years to develop – and then she take notice and civilization will be no more.

once You said that everything starts from the mind?

Guruji: yes: the first thing start from the mind, then it will be expressed in many different ways.

is it possible for the person without practicing yoga just with very strong concentration…?

Guruji: of course, there are people with a strong mind. But that’s the point: yogi is trying to know his mind. Many people have powerful mind – they never take enough effort to know their mind, they just keep using that. That’s the difference in your ambition.

but is it possible with the very strong mind to remain young with one very strong though “I will be forever young”? and you will be not ageing?

Guruji: well, everybody wants like this – but it never happens.

You remember Sandman – when he granted immortality to one person, who just decided to be immortal and was talking about it with the friends in the pub?

Guruji: Sandman gave him immortality and every thousand years he will come and take a cup of chai with him. I remember that story. So even Sandman needs to talk to someone. And if he will take a new person for chai – it will be very shocking for a new person. Every century is fine – when it’s one person.

Then again: to be immortal he must have the very strong reason to be immortal. Without reason – how you will pass your time? That is the biggest problem. They need to have something very big to do, something important. I’ve already said it n one of my quotations: a person, who likes intellectual perception, is not intelligent; you cannot remain without physical work. To remain idle without work – you must be very strong and powerful and very imaginative – then you can be without any physical work.

but at the same time the body must be in a very good condition?

Guruji: the mind will maintain it.

Millions of neurons dies every day – that’s what doctors say.

in Ayurveda they say that the most are dying in the period between 30 and 40 – what do You think?

Guruji: most of the people start to be different that time. They just keep repeating their habits.

Guruji: it’s considered the male god there.

"Why do you think self knowledge is important? It is important, so at least we can understand the purpose of our birth, and the purpose of spending time on earth. Why are we here, where have we come from, and what is our total potential aimed for? To answer these questions Nature will itself guide you towards your destiny. What we call as luck and chance is actually nothing but Nature prompting you on. Nothing happens by chance. It is actually Nature that guides all things around."

"So what is our role in this play of Nature? Is it just to keep moving ahead wherever it is guiding us?"

Guruji: 'Our role is to keep getting more and more tuned with Nature. We talk about yoga, which literally means union, connection. Through yoga we are aiming for this connectivity with God, with the consciousness of Earth. We are all living on earth and along on our paths, we should realize it someday that whatever we are doing is somewhere guided by Mother Earth herself. In that case, if we are able to form a connectivity with Earth, her will will start getting executed through us, and this may even lead to the ultimate evolution - final transformation in the womb of Mother Earth! (read this discussion ). I sometimes feel that this ultimate evolution is the driving force behind everything."

"You had mentioned that it takes ages to bring a man who is able to reach such levels."

Guruji: "Yes, that's absolutely true. And if we flip through the pages of history, such men have mostly been either yogis or avatars (incarnation of gods). Avatars are fully evolved souls who came back to earth to take birth.

"We can easily explain this through the process of union of sperm and ova. Initially, there are millions of sperms fighting for a union with ovum. But ultimately only one sperm which shows some signs of evolution gets that chance, with the support of Nature. It's Nature only which not helps the sperm with the union, but also transforms it then after. Similarly, through yoga we are aiming for a union with the super-ovum of Mother Earth, and once that union takes place, the reins completely fall into the hands of Nature. After that, whatever transformation takes place will be mind-boggling and beyond all imagination!

Terms like self-realization and god-realization have been repeated way too often in the world. I am very tired of hearing their different interpretations as they do not convey the actual meaning of evolution properly. And think of the confusion these terms have caused in the world. Their vague explanations have led to the formation of thousands of cults and sects. Even though according to Earth time these cults don't last even for the blink of an eye, but being sperms we have to bear all the confusion around (laughs).

"My suggestion is always to Think BIG and then Think BIGGER. Why be a miser in building castles in the air? They are just a flight of imagination, so make them as big as you can. The bigger you’ll think, the more you’ll progress. This is just an exercise for the mind. Make plans taking the entire life into consideration; think of life in its totality."

YOGI REMAINS ON THE EARTH

what is uttarayana?

Guruji: moving of the sun towards north – it starts from Capricorn sign and lasts for 6 months.

does this rule working now – when yogi decides to leave the body?

Guruji: it was considered very important in vedic times, even now some people considered. They say who dies the first 6ths months of the year, in uttarayana – they go much beyond the Earth. But because we love Mother Earth – we love to be here. What you will do in a space? All the things are here.

is it needed for a yogi now to choose the right time to go?

Guruji: yogi would love to remain on Earth. Even Shiva – the first Guru of yoga – lives on Earth. If Earth is good enough for him – it is good enough for us.

if you’ll go in dakshinayana – you will take another birth?

Guruji: no, if you’re a yogi – you’re in a situation of not necessarily – no problem.

could person decide to take a birth?

Guruji: it depends; we must diagnose exactly – whether it was part of his destiny, he was fated to die or it was something else happen. We need to classify: some other’s people karma may effect on him. then he will have extra time and have another birth; what karma was behind and what remain undone – such people become a powerful ghost. Some people take immediate birth: I’ve seen once the birth was taken in 2 hours. They become more powerful somehow.

even his body was not completely destroyed – he took another birth?

Guruji: yes.

why yogis decides remain on Earth: because of making practice?

Guruji: because the real power, the Kundalini Shakti, remains in earth element. Everybody keep ignoring this very fact that Kundalini described in muladhar chakra – and muladhar chakra is representing the earth element: then the real power is in earth element. So we love to remain near the source of power.

If the Mother Earth is the mother, then who is the father?

Guruji: let’s go a little bit on the background, to the level of the sperm and ovum. Starting from there:

sperm is absolutely in the dark, it doesn’t know, who is producing him, where it is going; but instinctively it is running towards ovum. When it reaches ovum and is united with the ovum- it goes inert, it goes into sleep, and the ovum takes over. Transformation begins. When the transformation reaches the level, when the child begins to look like his mother or father and is delivered; and then is old enough – only then mother tells the child: “he is your father”. To the sperm nothing is said.

Now bringing another light: look at your brain and spinal cord. In my opinion – they look exactly like a sperm and they are gone inert – they are just sleeping there, they are not ready to form another union. By sort of awakening the chakras, energy flowing and Kundalini awakening maybe that sleeping sperm wakes up again and is ready to form another union to the biggest and most important ovum in the whole creation, that is Mother Earth. When the sperm – spinal cord and brain – has been awaken and they are ready to form another union with the Mother Earth herself they unite and then the transformation has been taking place; we don’t know, how we will look after we will transform. Then the Mother will tell you: “my son, my child, he is your father”. So just prepare yourself- finally the union will take place. Here I’m giving another light to the word “awakening of the Kundalini”, what for? – for this.

You will agree – the spinal cord and brain looks like a sperm. And they will go inert because of the second awakening of the Kundalini. First union; now wake it up – so it will form another union with the Mother. Then she will introduce us the father. Nor till then. This wisdom has never been given in the history of mankind. It was described in different books, but it is the essence.

That brings us to another dangerous conclusion. When one sperm united with the ovum when formation begins – all other sperms die. That is the dangerous side of it. Apocalypse. Maybe that’s why Shiva dancing – because he’s happy going to have another child.

I heard from one great yogi about Great Mother – it’s about Mother Earth?

Guruji: he was referring to Kali. According to yogic believes, symbolically Kali is the Earth. She is standing on a dead body, like on Shiva. Shiva will be representing the void and Earth is standing on it, hanging on void.

Kali has four arms: this one is to protect( right upper); this – she is giving( right downer). She’s also carrying a sword( left upper) – Earth also kills and carries all the dead bodies in herself( head in left downer hand). All garlands from skulls, from hands – Earth is like a mother, who loves us so much, then even we’re dead – she will never let us go. It is like embodiment of Mother Earth herself. Kali is the portrait of Earth- mother.

We cannot leave Earth, no matter if you die or alive – our remains will always be here. Even cremated you will become like gases and will be part of the air. If will be buried – will be part of the earth body. There is no escape. This body is also called earthly body – you cannot going either.

From the positive note – maybe Earth is giant spaceship taking us somewhere, to some unknown destination; providing us with everything, recycling everything. Providing us the every type of entertainment – wars, politics, movies, everything. Carrying us to somewhere.

TO BE IN TUNE WITH THE PLANET

….when a yogi’s consciousness has developed to a level and he is ready to unite with the consciousness of the planet; if you will unite with the consciousness of Earth- whatever has gone through on Earth, in her memory – you will have access to it. What is education? Or the subjects which you’re reading, studying – just the study of the nature of Earth from different angles. Everything is the study of the nature of this planet from different angles. When you’re becoming in tune with the planet’s consciousness – you will learn most of the things. Very simple approach.

I will also be in tune with the reason why I appeared the first time on this planet?

Guruji: You will already realize that; then only you will be ready to be one with the Earth consciousness. After self-realization this thing will come.

You need to be self-realized first; then your consciousness will cross that limit; then you will become conscious that the planet is also living with consciousness; then, with yoga practice you will be able to tune your consciousness with the consciousness of the planet; and then, after you’re in tuned with it – you will know everything the planet has gone through, what she’s experiencing, how she feels and where she’s taking you.

Planet looks like a giant spaceship to me, carrying all of the records whatever has happened on it; it is providing us everything, every type of entertainment. Politics, war – it’s just entertainment for humanity. But where we’re going – only Mother Earth can show you. So after self-realization this thing remains to be regarded; then maybe you will start to see something else. Then, as we call it, Mother Earth, – maybe when you will become one with it, – she will introduce you to the Father. Because it's always the mother who is introducing the child to a father. Keep doing, think big, have big ambitions! If you’re creating castles in the air – create them as big as you can imagine, you should not put limits to that creation. Create them big!

Guruji: We are all living in our own world: create a bigger one!

And once we discussed that Mars chose to transform and become a planet?

Guruji: Mars was the son of Mother Earth, he takes care of Mother Earth: Shiva is the father and Earth is the mother. And it keeps taking care of Earth. If you remember, on 17th July 2003 Mars was at the nearest point to Earth — in 76,000 years. And Earth, Moon, Sun and Mars were in one straight line: and the Earth shifted a little. Everything is different now: so he just came nearer to take care of the mother.

Look at the DNA: they are much nearer to the mother than the father.

But in Ayurveda it is said that the skin, blood and flesh you’re taking from the mother — but the bones and nerves you’re taking from the father: is it true?

Guruji: Not exactly.

That’s very interesting — because my second child is exactly like me: what is it?

Guruji: Mind over matter (smiling). And I think matter — you go to the German language — mother is called “Mutter”. Mutter and matter: matter may be the mother of all Creation. We must pay more attention to the languages: they carry very deep meaning.

Why is practice so destructive to the body that we need to exercise?

Guruji: Exercise is not done to destroy your body: it is done to make your body more capable, more strong.

Yes, I mean the practice of Kriya?

Guruji: Samadhi experience. Because it is as good as death. Death experience you’re going through — old age will come: because death is connected with old age. So you need to learn how to neutralize it.

Like balancing?

Guruji: If you want to say this — ok.

That’s why the practice requires a strong body?

Guruji: Otherwise how will you do pranayamas and all these things? You’re using your body to do it. We’re not sitting quietly and thinking nice thoughts. Nice thoughts will come on their own.

WHO YOU ARE?

When we meet each other and create some relationship — like friends or lovers; what is it, relationship of two consciousnesses?

but first yogin will recognize the first four notes, connected with the earth element?

Guruji: no, it will come much later. Maybe I’m the first person, who is discussing about Mother Earth so much: look into history – who is discussing? All were running after heaven.

Out of the earth we have come and to the earth we shall return one day...

"Different forms of creation rise from the earth and in the end, merge back with the earth, as waves in the sea - they are individual waves and yet a part of the sea. All life depends on earth, all life originates from earth. Earth is our God, our mother. She is the basis for everything; our happiness, our sadness are all directly linked to Mother Earth. Civilizations come and go, Earth goes on forever. What is Earth's remains on earth no matter what. We already belong to Earth, going and returning are hypothetical, WE BELONG TO THE EARTH. Bible says we came out of the dust, even dust is a part of the earth.

"She's our sole provider; whether we are alive or dead or even if we become gods! When we are alive, we get everything from earth. Even after death, Mother Earth holds our remains - we merge back into the Earth. If we are buried our graves are formed here, if we are cremated we are burnt into ashes to become a part of the earth. All our after-life rites take place here be it shradda, tarpan (offerings to ancestral spirits) etc. Even for gods, the continuity of their existence depends on earth; their worship, followers, ceremonies, temples are all based upon Earth. The sacred rituals, yajna etc for appeasement of gods all take place here. All states of existence - living, dead or divine depend on Mother Earth. No one has EVER been able to get away from Earth - be it a renunciate, god, dead, ancestral spirit, or a living being.

"We all are bits of earth and we have an individuality, a feeling of being which we call atma (spirit, soul). Why is it so hard to conceive that Earth would have an individuality too, feeling of a super being - paramatma, the Supreme Self? Aren't we a part of her? Even the most intelligent man depends on food - intelligence can't survive without proper nourishment, right? We derive that intelligence, that nourishment from Earth. The whole play of consciousness goes on over here. That sole provider, should we consider it a dead planet? Or is it that her life span itself is beyond our understanding? Scientists estimate earth to be over 4 billion years old. Comparing that to an average human life span of about 60 years, how can a 60 years old person comprehend the consciousness of someone who is more than 4 billion years old! Even the thought of ever meeting a 1000 years old man sends jitters down our spine - and here we live on a 4 billion years old individual and are not even aware of it! Who can deny that earth has a consciousness? Our own consciousness depends on her. In earth's time, we live for about half a second! How can such an ephemeral existence comprehend what does she think of, where did she come from, where will she go?

"It is believed that Earth is formed from Sun and will be destroyed much before Sun is. However, I affirm that Earth will never go away! Scientists estimate age of Earth to be about 4.5 billion years. According to ancient Hindu calculations, a day in the life of Brahma is about 4.32 billion years long. After our current Sun burns out, Earth will go in a hibernation period till she finds another Sun. This is the dark period, when life becomes inert - what is described in scriptures as when Brahma sleeps. Earth moves on after this dark period, and form a union with another Sun which will create life again. Suns may come and go, Earth will go on forever! May be she absorbs all energy from Sun. Earth is not made from Sun. It is a scientific hypothesis, but I'm now totally convinced that nothing can ever happen to Earth. Though the face of earth may change, but there will never be total annhilation of Earth. May be that's why scriptures say our our souls are beginningless; nobody knows where they have come from because Earth is beginningless and souls are born of Earth. Earth came out of the darkness so long ago nobody remembers what exactly happened..

"Once we realize there's no destruction of Earth, it logically follows that whoever can unite his or her consciousness with Mother Earth will remain unscathed forever. We all have viruses breeding inside our bodies but they are not our offsprings. Only one or two sperms which can ovulate in mother's womb become our children. May be we are like that, viruses living on Earth. Those of us who can ovolute in Earth's womb, may be only those are real offsprings of Earth. This is rarest of all secrets, about this ovolution - union with Earth's consciousness. If she accepts you as her own, that this existence is not a virus but my own offspring, She can provide you with eternal life! Imagine how much knowledge we can gain in one billion years, how much union we can accomplish..."

How shall Mother Earth identify us as her children and not viruses?

Guruji's reply: "When we start behaving like children. Children will care for their Mother Earth, a virus will just thrive on her: increase pollution, spread disease, deplete resources - exactly like what's happening in the world right now. A son will respect her mother, listen to her like in a family."

"We have so many religions on earth, so many faiths. Not even a single one of them one of them postulates any theory about the origin of Earth, not even the Hindu religion. All that is said is that Earth came out of the darkness (in Greek mythology), self-formed and that She is beginningless, that's it. There are also mythological stories about constant battle between gods and demons over earth. Reality is, whoever rules over Earth will rule the entire universe, at least the spritual/astral world. This is also one of the most secretive facts that was revealed.

"People are beginning to realize the uselessness and futility of wasting time on religious fanatism. We'll soon understand that Mother Earth is our God. So many prophets came and preached different religions to people, yet none of them could go beyond Earth. Some worship tree spirits or mountain spirits - those are also small bits and pieces of Mother Earth; we should consider things as a whole. People believe they are going to heaven but their graves are left on earth - why don't they take their body along? Its the truth of the matter, and people will accept the wisdom of it.

"Have you ever heard any scientist making a statement that Earth is unparalleled? We can now see millions of lightyears away. We have explored to the limits of the universe to find a planet resembling our Earth but couldn't. No scientist ever said that Earth is unique - but I'm saying She is, one of Her kind in the whole universe. We search for water on moon and mars and at the same time pollute water on our planet!

how the world is an illusion.. Shankaracharya lived for only thirty-two years and proclaimed Earth's existence for billions of years as illusion! You should be really careful about these things, just because somebody has been famous for a thousand years doesn't mean he is right. Humanity is now mature enough to understand reality; all religions have gone after collecting power, money and control. They have ingrain this feeling of servitude in all of us - 'Serve God!' is the first sermon of all religions. All religions are politically motivated - to gain control. This concept of hypothetical invisible God is an 'unearthly' thing, we should all realize that. Who can defute we belong to Earth? Not to a hypothetical invisible God - She is our God. We're also taught Vasudhaive kutumbukum - whole Earth is our family. This doesn't apply only to humans, but to all forms of live - animals, birds, plants even bacterias! The whole family is one. Humans don't have a copyright on Earth."

"Atma (Self, feeling of Being) and Paramatma (Supreme Self, God) are words of female gender. Atma holds our existence. Since Earth holds everybody's existence, it would be appropriate that She be called Paramatma - the supreme Goddess (Earth is also of female gender!)."

What's the difference between physical world and the astral world?

"The difference is the same as between your body and your mind. Your breath and mind are invisible but your body isn't. Still, your body is an outcome (manifestation) of the invisible (mind and breath). Its similar to the five elements in our belief system - that they form together into this visible gross world. If something is intangible doesn't mean it doesn't exist. People started saying what is invisible is the truth, and what is visible is not. That's not correct, they both co-exist. Together, they form us, our being as parts of Mother Earth. Our breath and thoughts are not visible, Earth's are not either.

"Yoga word literally means Union, eternal union. As we discussed earlier, to become real children we have to form communication with Mother Earth. You've seen Kutastha, right? Doesn't it look like Earth with outer atmosphere?. It is said that Super Consciousness is the result of Yoga. Super consciousness doesn't come from anywhere, its all around us. With constant practice, the yogi gradually becomes more and more aware of this super-consciousness and once he is fully aware then only forms a connectivity with Earth consciousness! That is what Lahiri Mahasaya called Kutastha Chaitanya, full awareness of Earth's consciousness at all times. Every yogi experiences that. But this is the most difficult task. Imagine one who is billions of years old, how difficult it would be to communicate with Her. What'll be Her heart rate, generations pass away in Her mere blink!"

about Mother Earth's human form

"Earth's human form is very beautiful! A very beautiful dark woman donning green and sometimes reddish brown sari. Sometimes She appears sitting in padmasan (lotus posture), with fresh green baali in one hand feeding a parrot and wearing mysterious kinds of ornaments and jewelry.

"This awareness of Mother Earth is very important. Our lives are most insignificant compared to Hers. That is why we can't communicate with her. This communication should be developed for human race to be successful. Who knows, may be She is ill and we are the viruses! Think about all the ecological and environmental problems that we have created. Earth is our God, our Mother, our everything. Everybody is a part of Earth, their heart knows She's special even if they deny on face. She supports all forms of life but nobody even looks at her! They'd rather gaze at the sky for some hypothetical god! We should be grateful to Earth, our everything depends on Her. Yet She is rarely worshipped formally.. Its a real secret, you'll live as long as Earth if She accepts you as Her son.

At least now we are down to earth!"

ELECTRICITY

what is actually electricity?

Guruji: electricity may be the consciousness of the elements: even your consciousness is acting on electromagnetic currents – so electricity is the consciousness of the Earth. It’s a thought of the Mother Earth.

Consciousness of the Earth expresses itself as an electricity. You’re talking and breathing – but the machine will register only the electric flashes in your brain. All those electrical charges around us – they maybe have consciousness.

how electricity can be connected with the prana flowing or the prana itself?

Guruji: it is there because of the prana: the sequence which I keep telling you: the spirit comes and brings life; life creates consciousness; so – the prana of Earth, we need to connect with that. She also has prana and apana. As they say in Sanskrit: yat pinde tat brahmande – whatever is in the body is also in the larger body. In Earth will be the same thing.

prana and apana are the same everywhere?

Guruji: all Lila is because of them – Shiva and Shakti, prana and apana – whatever you call them.

is electricity the more condense and hard form of prana?

Guruji: no, your thoughts. We’re able to think because we’re alive; and we’re alive because of prana. Prana is beyond energy. It is the source of it.

could we connect the energy of the Earth with the frequency of vibrations?

Guruji: you can do that; but recent research say that every tree is giving nearly 20 mcV. Everything is conscious – even stones.

if we are able to combine the materials which Earth is giving us – so we are able to create a new type of the consciousness?

Guruji: we’re maybe the working parts of the Mother Earth – or maybe bloodline. You’re WBC, we’re RBC: WBCs are always fighting. RBC are more about carrying the life. But Earth has two more blood parts: BBC and YBC – two more races as we call them. probably we also have them in our bodies but still are not aware about them.

the stone has also his own consciousness, but what if some artist will…

Guruji: they are all parts of the Earth’s body: that means they have a certain type of consciousness. Artist is just expressingthe hidden possibilities in that particular piece of stone.

after it will be shaped into some statue or murti – it will have more elaborated consciousness?

Guruji: it will have more identity – and it will give it more elaborate consciousness.

there are so many changes even in human consciousness after they start to build all the electrical stations or atomic stations; is it because of the wish of Earth?

Guruji: yes, entertainment for the Mother.

and we still cannot catch the thunderbolt…

Guruji: I think if it will happen – all the energy crisis will disappear. One thunderbolt carries 1 or 2 gigawatts of energy - which may give power for a week to Delhi, one single thunderbolt. It is described in Vimanika shastra – when the flying devices are working on a power of the thunderbolts and the isolation of their corpuses are made from rhinoceros’ skin. The isolation of the thunderbolt power only this material can create. Maybe now some new discoveries are made – but in olden times it was rhino skin: they were able to harness the thunderbolt in their flying ships – intergalactic ships were there.

it is very interesting connection with the material for the kundals for the yogis

Guruji: so they keep my thoughts insulated(smiling). It will keep the yogi insulated from outside influence - and keep outside insulated from his influence.

that is the point: if the yogi will think something slightly – he could destroy everything?

Guruji: many problems may arrive

so if the normal person will wear such kundals – his limited mind will be isolated more?

Guruji: yes

what means then if the yogi finally attains the electrical body?

Guruji: that means he become pure consciousness

does it mean he could be everywhere in the same time?

Guruji: yes, this is what we described in nirvana. Maybe it was the first time in the human history that nirvana was defined exactly. That’s how yogi becomes omnipresent and omnipotent.

how time is connected with electricity?

Guruji: Even to express or to get a simple thought – you must have time. Time is the catalyst in everything. Without time you will remain frozen in one moment – if you will ever be there.

My question is about gravitation. I’m a scientist and a teacher of mathematics and physics. There is an opinion that our thoughts are material and when we think about something we attract it. Everything is attracting to the Earth. What do You think about an opinion, that the Earth is thinking of us and is attracting us to Herself.

A: Because the Earth is attracting us and it’s not letting us go, that actually giving us life also. I think the Earth is a giant spacecraft which is taking us somewhere, keeping all our DNA memories and all our remains on herself. She is on a journey to some unknown destination and she is taken us there. So think on this line and you will discover so many fantastic things. She is providing us with every type of entertainment from politics to war, to yoga, and she is providing us with every life support system also. Maybe just from science fiction point of view all UFO which keep coming, they may be the pilot crew which are actually taking care of the Earth- spaceship which is taking us somewhere.

EARTH IS OUR HOME

now travelling is in a very big fashion: what do You think about it?

Guruji: now time is changing – it’s a time of globalization, different people are coming together, communicating, now the feeling is growing that Earth is our home, instead of believing many political boundaries – even that is good.

But we have more responsibility to the planet we are living; maybe this thought will develop more. Only by coming together, communicating, knowing each other, the fear of unknown will disappear.

TO KNOW THE NATURE OF THE MOTHER EARTH

That only the Guru will decides: it is just like finishing your education from college – it doesn’t mean your learning stops there. In fact you are more valid to learn in much more better way. When you achieve samadhi – you’re free to understand the Creation; and the more you will study the Creation – the more you will begin to understand the nature of the Creator, which will take millions of years. For this immortality is needed; or maybe your spirit needs the identity established – so you will continue study without gaps.

about these two options: maybe you’ll born again and become immortal or maybe you stay?

Guruji: more possibilities are there after reaching such high standard.

if somehow someone could become a gana of Kali or a gana of Shiva?

Guruji: if you can become a gana of Kali – this is also extremely high achievement, and when you are a gana of Kali for 10000 years – then you will be qualify to become a Shivagana. Then it’s something different.

when you become a member of group of immortals – how it is decided? One immortal decides?

Guruji: once you attain immortality – other immortals will notice you. After they have tested you for centuries – they may contact you. Immortal person testing will take centuries – maybe more than that. They can effort to wait, no hurry.

we can discuss anyway…

Guruji: and I will add one thing about understanding the nature of the Creator: understanding the nature of the Mother Earth is extremely important. She’s alive, our life depends on her, and if you just look at it from the yogic perspective: whatever you’re study, all science and arts – whatever we are study, we’re study Earth’s nature from the different point of view. All education is about studying our planet. She ‘s taking us somewhere, providing everything for us – she’s in some unknown journey, unknown destination. Also we need to understand and discover, where she’s taking us. You cannot leave: either you will die – you will remain here, even in the form of fossil or something. Whatever form you’ll be there – she provides all entertainment from wars to movies for everyone. Until unless you connect your consciousness with the planet itself – you’ll never discover. So: practice well, become one with the consciousness of the Earth – that is the major thing.

Q : how my dreams in astral world could affect the physical world and vice versa?

Guruji: do you really see the difference between mundane world and spirit world? Without spirit inside you won’t be asking any question and I won’t answer any question to you. Mundane world and spiritual world – it’s all the play of the spirits. They matters and they are the main responsible beings, who are creating all this illusions of illusions of power and money and the game of everything whatever we see – the spirits are playing, you have to keep it in mind. Never differentiate between this world and other world. They are same. I will ask you a simple question: if there is no spirit- dead men don’t talk. Dead bodies don’t talk – it is spirit inside, which is using a physical body for their own purposes. It’s all the spiritual world.

I have very different perspective.

I think that Earth is the giant spaceship and it is taking us to some unknown destination which nobody has any idea. In evolution of human beings nobody has been able to observe this that Earth are taking us somewhere. She’s providing us with everything and she’s the best thing for recycling everything also. Earth recycles everything and provides us with every entertainment – wars, love, famine, too much eating, everything – and you continue to reincarnate on this planet again and again because you can not escape. You’re in a ship moving in the space and this ship is taking us to some unknown destination. Those people who’re trying to achieve immortality – they’re hope into travel first class. They can observe from where we’re going and where we’re going and they will have very long time for thinking, wandering and analyzing so many different problems of this Universe. For a common men, simple travelers – they’re travelling in third class or let’s say very humble class – but they still have everything that could be given to them. Think on this level. Forget about cosmos – you cannot survive in cosmos; only on Earth there are enough conditions given for our surviving. See, the core is molten lava that can be the nuclear furnace to give power to the Earth to move and all the oceans are acting as coolers, all the rivers providing you water – Earth is giving us everything, it is a giant ship. Maybe it’s like Nebuchadnezzar taking us somewhere.

Everybody would love to travel in first class. People are given the equal opportunities to get enough money. All opportunities are there.

Earth is the most mysterious being in this entire creation. She is in continuous journey and she’s carrying us and taking us to some unknown destination. She knows – we don’t know that. There are so many hypothesis, that Earth came out of the Sun – I’m not agree with that. Maybe she’s receiving power from every Sun, she come across and she devours, eats the Sun and then the Sun is no more – then the period of hibernation or sleep comes – and she finds another Sun and the dance of life begins again. She’s taking us to some unknown destination, providing us every type of entertainment and giving us whatever we need. You can not leave her.

do You think she’s alone?

Guruji: so far I’m think she’s alone.

nine planets are also changing with the Sun?

Guruji: In this creation we feel the influence of nine planets – if she find another Sun another planets may come.

what about the Moon&

Guruji: In our mythology it is said that the Moon was born as the elder brother of Dattatreya from rishi Atri and Anasuya – she’s very strong woman, strongest maybe. As he was born before his birth it was no Moon.

Mother Earth is Death Herself!

[Guruji recounting a dream]

Guruji: "It's an old dream, very terrifying. I saw large number of people doing parikrama(circumambulation of the sacred Goverdhan mountain). I was standing with a very tall man; I was barely reaching his waistline. He was totally black and looked extremely horrifying, with no hair, and his teeth and nails about 4-5 feet long! And behind us, there were millions of funeral pyres burning.

"We were merrily talking. Just then, I saw him casually pick up a passing man, using his nails as forks, and start roasting him on the funeral pyre behind us, all the while talking to me. The man he picked up started crying loudly due to the pain. I asked, 'if you want to kill him then kill him; why are torturing him like this?'. He answered that until the man's blood boils in his veins and turns blue, it won't bring out the flavor! After some time, he ate him and picked up another man the same way!"

"It was a very strange dream. Its still very vivid in my memory. Later when I discussed this with people, I found out that when you heat up the blood to a certain temperature, it actually turns blue. And the most terrifying thing was what he said about blood and developing flavor! It means that in future a lot of people will die out of some blood disease. Their blood will turn blue due to this disease and the torture will lead to their death."

"Guruji, did such dreams help you give some direction in real life, or were some sort of premonition of events to unfold?"

Guruji: "Yes it does give direction in life. And you also get to know about coming events, in a different way. The black man I saw in my dream could have been anybody. Goverdhan is known askala devata (black deity). Yamaraj (lord of death) is also black, and the Kaal of Yamaraj is black too. One thing is clear is that the next century is going to be soaked in blood, much more compared to the 20th century! And the next 20-22 years are going to be be very significant."

"What do you mean by 'Kaal of Yamaraj"?

Guruji: "Yamaraj is the god of death, and Kaal is a special messenger of Yamaraj; he is death only. Kaal is the one who carries the noose, is totally black, and always remains naked; his description is very terrifying. I feel the man I saw could be Kaal.

"Kaal has other meanings as well. One is Time in Its entirety. Other is, when they say ‘his time has come’ - the moment of death. When we read about Kaal, it's actually description of the 'moment of death' personified - black, with a noose in his hands, etc. I saw this dream around four years back."

"Guruji, in Mahabharata, death has been described as a lady who prays to lord Brahma that she didn't want to kill anybody."

Guruji: "Yes, and she is very beautiful! There is no difference between death and Mother Earth. That is why we also call Earth as mrityuloka, the domain of death. And she is the most beautiful lady in the universe. When she prayed that she didn't want to kill anybody, Brahma's blessing to her was that she will never be blamed for anybody's death. So nobody blames her for anything, they simply cannot. Mind it, Earth is death herself!

"We also know that whenever a person dies, the cause is always something else. They'll say it was an accident, or drowned in water, or brain hemorrhage, or snake bite, etc. Have you heard anybody ever say that a person died because death arrived? Even if a people dies when a building falls, people don’t say it was Earth who killed him. For them it was the building that killed. If drought strikes some place, they say people died because of hunger.

"Think about it. It is very important. Mother Earth is death herself. As they say, death always walks alongside a person, which is true because we are living on it. And see what happens after we die, we get mixed up in Earth only. We go back to Earth only."

"How are Yamaraj and Kaal involved in this?"

Guruji: "There are two things here. Our souls have come out of the Void (shunyata), which is also carrying Earth. It is a form of Shiva only, that's why jiva1 is also called Shiva. Now when the union of Shiva and Earth takes place, multiple life forms are produced. But the soul in a life-form is coming from Void only. The domain of the soul coming out of the Void is that of Yamaraj. He has no concern with the earthly matters. But what a soul learns, experiences, and gains out of its contact with Earth is definitely his concern."

"And what goes back to Earth?"

Guruji: "All parthivta, all that is made of earth. The five elements belong to Earth only, and they dissolve back in Earth. But the eternal substance inside us, one that is the form of Shiva, which is formless, unmanifest, and eternal goes somewhere else. This is where the domain of Yamaraj starts from. The 'otherworldly', which is completely separate from the material world.

"These are some stunning revelations. Until now, we were just hunched over Earth, but there has to be purpose to it too. Until now we've been thinking about the consciousness of Matter (chaitanya padartha). Now we are gradually moving towards the consciousness of the Void (chaitanya shunyata).

"Then we'll move to the consciousness of Time. It is beyond even the Void. It is ever present, and yet ever beyond. Remember the movie 'Matrix', the scene where the Agent caught Morpheus and was saying to him: 'I hate this place. I need the code to get out of this place, and the code is in this mind. Give me the code'.

The whole deal is get this code. Once we get this code, we'll be able to get out of this 'Matrix' (laughs). "

Another point for Prithivi Namaskar: anywhere if the person is practice it regularly – the surroundings will improve and the nature will begin to be more happy and it will improve and it will start to support you every time. Mother is happy – then everything is happy. I highly recommend practicing Prithivi Namaskar before you do your Kriya yoga practice – it will give you fantastic results.

MYSTERIES

OF THE MOTHER EARTH

once You made a parallel with the sperm, which unites with ova; but that yogis are not sitting in one place – they are moving, talking?

Guruji: just think from another point of

view: instead of transformation somehow the sperm caught ova- not to transform,

but to keep him safe. That’s the point: they will not go into

transformation; transformation will make them go away from the mother; but if

ova will remain inside with supporting of the sperm taking care of it – then

the sperm will live a very happy long life. Always one with the Mother.

When the newborn baby comes – the central part on the head is very soft; because of the still opened bramarandhra?

Guruji: It is inside the brain, it’s not on the top.

Could the perception of smells become stronger before samadhi?

Guruji: You will become sensitive enough to appreciate that. Why do you think yogis go away from society? I know for a fact that most of the long-lived persons or immortals – they never ever enter the cities. I’ve seen them asking for food either from a farmer in villages or extremely poor persons. I thought for many years: why do they never ever enter the cities? And it finally came to me: all the cities are built over sewers. Because we live there – we don’t think, what is there; but they are extremely sensitive people, they don’t enter the cities. They always live outside. And only a poor man or farmer will share his food with good feelings; that is also affected.

We were trying to decipher it and I’m becoming aware: the Earth coming into being is the greatest mystery. I feel that She has gone through many-many Suns: when She has taken all energy from a particular Sun- She’s going into hibernation for some time, finds another Sun and the dance of life begins again. She’s moving on to a certain direction, She’s taking us somewhere. Only She can tell that. I keep stressing the point that you must unite your consciousness with the planet: otherwise you will never know. It’s a very mysterious journey. She loves us so much: She’s keeping every memory of every being, which appeared on this planet – from dinosaurs to any small microbe; you cannot leave! Some great mystery is there (smiling) maybe one day She will tell us that. Ancient people were telling – but scientists said that is not – it was a symbolic thing: that Earth is the center of the Universe. It is! But people were thinking: if it’s the center of the Universe – whole worlds are moving around; no, the variety of life, which is found on Earth – is nowhere else. This particular combination of 5 elements on this planet – nowhere is seen. This is a very special and most beautiful thing- as we can see on photos, taken from outer space. I’m ok here (smiling).

Maybe it can exist – some other Earth somewhere?

Guruji: Hypothetically every scientist is discussing – in other galaxies and universes, this and that; but no one sees any similar Earth anywhere. I accept this fact.

Then I simply answered to them that the mind of the social people or our human society become so commercialized that we keep ignoring the fact that Mother Earth is giving everything to us absolutely for free – we create a business out of it; she’s not providing us with a bill every month or week. Whatever she has is given for free for us. And we have become so commercialized that we’re getting it for free – but we’re creating a business of it. We never ever think honestly in our heart to give back something to the Earth in its purest form.

I think as a yogi that Earth is my Mother, Mother-Earth we call her. If I’m just giving hundreds liters of milk or 125 liters of milk, which we allowed to going into the Earth – it is a small effort from a child of the Earth to please the Mother by giving her something pure. This is what I think.

Guruji: “[About īśāvāsyopaniṣada] According to Sanskrit dictionary, īśā literally means ‘most affluent woman’. Who’s more affluent than Mother Earth? If you read carefully, you’ll find that this upaniṣada is actually about Mother Earth. The popular interpretations, however, go totally off tangent.

“The origin of Mother Earth is the most secretive. I’ve realized that Her existence goes beyond the existence of the sun. When she absorbs the energy of one sun, she moves on to take on another one. And in the process she’s taking us all somewhere. In fact, each sun she takes results in a new species on Earth!”

Q. Guruji, in the Mahabharata, death has been described as a lady who prayed to Lord Brahma that she didn’t want to kill anybody.

A. Yes... Death is also described as a very beautiful lady. And our planet is the most beautiful lady in the universe. There is no difference between Death and Mother Earth; we call Earth as Mrityuloka, the domain of death.

When Death prayed that she didn’t want to kill anybody, Brahma's blessing to her was that she will never be blamed for anybody's death.

And whenever a person dies, the cause is always something else, but not death itself. We'll say it was an accident, or drowning, or brain hemorrhage, or snake bite, etc. Have you heard anybody ever say that a person died because death arrived? When a building collapses during the earthquake, crushing people, we never say it was Earth that killed them. We blame the collapsed building. If a drought strikes, we say that people die because of hunger.

Think about it, it is very important. Mother Earth is death herself. As the saying goes, death always walks alongside you, which is true because we are living on this planet, walking upon it. And after death, we are buried in the soil of Earth, going back to her.

Q. What are the roles of Yamaraj and Kaal in this?

A. Our souls have come out of the Void (Shunyata), which is also carrying Earth. It is a form of Shiva, that's why jiva (soul) is also called Shiva. When the union of Shiva and Earth takes place, multiple life forms are produced. But the soul as a life form comes only from the Void. The domain of the souls coming out of the Void belongs to Yamaraj. He has no concern with earthly matters. But the lessons, experiences, gains, and setbacks of the earthly path of the soul are definitely his (Yamaraj’s) concern.

Q. And what goes back to Earth?

A. All parthiva, all that is made of Earth. The five elements of the body belong to Earth and they dissolve back into Earth. But the eternal substance inside us, the one that is the form of Shiva, formless, unmanifested, and eternal – it travels to another realm. This is where the domain of Yamaraj starts – the 'otherworldly' realm, separate from the material, physical world.

These are stunning revelations. Until now we've been thinking about the consciousness of matter (Chaitanya Padartha). Now we are gradually moving towards the consciousness of the Void (Chaitanya Shunyata). Then we'll move to the consciousness of Time. It is beyond the Void. It is ever-present, and yet ever beyond.

Remember the movie The Matrix, the scene where the agent caught Morpheus and was saying to him, “I hate this place. I need the code to get out of this place, and the code is in this mind. Give me the code.”

Sometimes I feel that this ultimate evolution is the driving force behind everything.

Q. You had mentioned that it takes ages for a man to reach such levels.

A. Yes, that's absolutely true. And if we flip through the pages of history, such men have mostly been either yogis or avatars (incarnations of gods). Avatars are fully evolved souls who incarnate on Earth.

We can easily explain this through the process of union of sperm and ovum. Initially, there are millions of sperms fighting for a union with ovum. But ultimately only one sperm, with some signs of evolution, gets that chance with the support of nature. It is nature that not only helps the sperm with the union, but also transforms it to the next form after the union.

Similarly, through yoga, we are aiming for a union with the super-ovum of Mother Earth. Once this union takes place, the reins completely fall into the hands of nature. After that, whatever transformation takes place is mind- boggling and beyond all imagination!

Terms like ‘self-realization’ and ‘God-realization’ have been repeated way too often. I am tired of hearing their different interpretations, as they do not convey the actual meaning of evolution properly. And think of the confusion these terms have caused in the world. Their vague explanations have led to the formation of thousands of cults and sects. Even though these cults do not last for the blink of an eye if we go by Earth time, still being mere sperms we have to bear all this confusion around us.

My suggestion is always to think big and then think bigger. Why be a miser in building castles in the air? They are just flights of imagination; so make them as big as you can. The bigger you think, the more you progress. This is just an exercise for the mind. Make plans by taking the entire life into consideration. Think of life in its totality.

Guruji: “[.. continued from before] we talked about ātmā (soul) and paramātmā (the Supreme Soul, God). You have a soul. Then what is the Supreme Soul? Which is the soul of your soul, or, in other words, that on which the existence of your soul depends. Based on that, Mother Earth is the Supreme Soul. We are supposed to realize the supreme soul, and instead a vague concept of a distant, hypothetical God living in skies has been handed over to us. People say God is omnipresent: go anywhere in the world, Earth is everywhere! And don’t know when we’ll go in outer space, even there land will be needed.”

Q: “Then Guruji, what should a person do? It must be so hard to communicate with Mother Earth.”

Guruji: “A person should live a very natural life, and should try to tune with the mind of Earth, or tune with the life-force – the force of life – of Earth. That’s all. Without tuning in, will not understand the union, as we’ve discussed before. Tuning is necessary.

Q: “So it is mainly a thinking process?”

Guruji: “It’s not a thinking process. When the actual tuning happens it will make the difference, not just by thinking that. Like the old swamis and vedāntīs (propagators of Vedas) proclaim, ‘I’m brahma (supreme universal spirit, Godhead)!’. They even argue to prove they are brahma! But just by saying can they be brahma? They eat food, need to go to the toilet, they shiver in cold and yet continue to claim they are brahma! Can brahma shiver in cold, or can it get indigestion? The important thing is to understand reality. Reality can be harsh, but isn’t it equally beautiful as well?

“You can do this meditation of mother Earth [..]. Nobody meditates on Earth. Have you seen anyone do that? Has any so-called god-man ever said that you should meditate on Earth, that she is our mother, the basis of our existence? Meditate on Her, then only you will develop an understanding of your own existence.”

Q: “Guruji, you had mentioned that you were looking into some methods to communicate directly with Mother Earth?”

Guruji: “Yes, the research is going on. You can say that the success is just looming on the horizon; can already see it, just have to reach there. Have discovered a few techniques and processes after doing a major research; now I’m looking for the original touch. There are also some mantras of Earth, and fire rituals. They are very rare to find.”

Q: “That’s probably why they are hidden.”

Guruji: “They are hidden because they are not in convention; nobody cares for them. People are worshiping the goddess of wealth, Vishnu, or some other gods. But nobody cares about our real god.

“My mind is opening up. See, I received a natural-found śiva-liṁga. But ultimately it was given by Mother Earth only! I’m worshiping the śiva-liṁga, offering milk to it, etc, so in a way, I’m worshiping her as well. Also the female signs of śakti that we found: they were given by Earth herself. It’s not like they fell out of the sky.

“One most astonishing thing has happened here: we are totally stunned, and amazed as well. You remember the Neem tree next to the hall? It actually had menstrual periods! And it happened on the first day of Navarātri. Aren’t these the signs of Mother Earth?”

Q: “Mother Earth’s standards must be pretty high, she probably doesn’t accept just anybody.”

Guruji: “Who knows? She is a mother. She looks after even those who don’t care for her. If somebody cared for her, who knows what she’d do for them!

“All the riches come from Earth, all the knowledge comes from her. Our existence depends on Earth. If such a divine being starts favoring you, then there’s no end to happiness.

“It’s a major realization, that’s why we have started so many Earth related activities. Even found her meditation form in texts: A brown-skinned, supremely beautiful woman, who’s donning green clothes and whose hair are also green, and who is feeding a sprig of wheat or rice to a parrot. That’s her human form.”

.""Every human being is free to discover what his limit is, but we really have to exert ourselves to know our limits. We have to exert ourselves to discover what is limiting us and what are our limits, how far we can go, how far we can achieve. But very few people try that. We just always had a pattern of life: some family tradition, some social tradition, some country wise tradition. We never think beyond that. So the first thing for a yogi is to develop the capacity for free thinking. He must be able to take an objective view over himself, his family, his country, his class. Whatever is there, he must be able to think on that objectively. Then only his consciousness will begin to develop to a very great height. This free thinking should be achieved by everybody, who is practicing yoga. Otherwise what is the use of developing your consciousness if you cannot even think freely or take an objective view over all the humanity? Who am I? Am I Indian, or a Hindu or a Brahmin? I consider myself a citizen of this world. I am a human being. And today I can call myself an earthling. That’s what I am and that’s what you are. But because we are conditioned into so many things, we keep on thinking I am Indian, you are Pakistani, he is American, he is Russian, he is Turkish. We have to think beyond that. We have to accept the fact, that we live on this planet. This is the space age. We are earth beings. All the boundaries are political boundaries. Earth has been created with no boundaries. There is a song in a Hindi movie: «The birds, the water, the air - no political boundaries stops them». They don’t need a passport, don’t need a visa. They can go anywhere. So it is we human beings, who keep on creating the limitations for us.But we are growing out of our limitation, which we put ourselves. Thanks to our ancestors.""

But I think there is another principle here. That is actually when you are in tune with the nature. Nature begins to support you. You can call that the grace of the nature. If you want to explain it that way it will be very impressive and extraordinary to an ordinary person. And snakes, when they hear my name they go away. They don’t take bite. It is nature but as well as Shiva is the first guru of yoga and snakes are attached with him. So because I am in the line of disciples, I am also yogi. So they may not be yogis. But then there are two types of yogis. Those who convey the impression that they are yogis, and those who are real yogis. So I think it is like that all the time. But I am grateful. Or maybe by hearing my name they laugh so much, so they are unable to bite and they go away laughing. It is a possibility of course. What do you think? It can be also. I think snakes are a simple and extraordinary example. Possibly because everything is actually a part of nature. And when nature is supporting you – a very big support you can have. I consider myself fortunate that nature is supporting me. How many bacterias you know which are living on your body? Millions. But you are not aware of them, of their existence. You know it because medical science tells us. And you know you don’t call them individually by name. You are not aware of their existence actually. But if somebody makes you aware – you are aware of its existence and you will be friendly with that bacterium or say virus, then it will be another story. That virus will become a super-virus. Other viruses will take him as a hero, he will be privileged. He is a very wise virus and he is a very great virus and he can do miracles because of your support because you are recognizing that virus as an individual and as a friend. We are no more than viruses or bacterias living on earth.

we are like bacteria on the body of Earth; so we must try to do something that she will notice us and do something good for her?

Guruji: but bacteria even is not able to see you! It is just living there – and so small, they even don’t look at you. So we live on Earth and we cannot look at it.

how I can like bacteria to pay attention to the Earth?

Guruji: better not to do attention: that will be a safe thing to do.

by practicing we try to improve ourselves?

Guruji: finally – yes, we can say that we can develop our consciousness to the level that you can unite your consciousness with the consciousness of the planet. It’s a living being! Then you will know everything. All education is just a study of Earth’s nature from different angles – all education is depending on.

We already know through science that even when you are breaking a plant or just plucking a leaf, the plant feels pain. I think it is an established fact.

So plants are feeling pain, animals are feeling pain, human beings are feeling pain. So it is very logical to assume that Mother Earth also might be feeling pain.

When there are so many nuclear tests conducted on her surface, so much mining activity has being done inside her, I’m sure Mother Earth also must be feeling pain, quite a lot of it. We need to actually think about it, and we should start caring about it. This is what I say.
