The five elements

ESSENCE OF THE FIRE ELEMENT.

You’re of 5 elements in different proportion. Then you recognize them one by one and start to equalize the proportion – 20% each. You will be a superman. Once you finish the cleansing and bring them to equal proportion.

can we say that we recognize the elements one by one?

Guruji: no, we become aware of them simultaneously.

like development of the chakras?

Guruji: the development of your chakras depends on the development of your consciousness. They are go together – they are one and the same. Your spinal cord is just an extension of your brain – they are together, one.

fire element categorized in the aspect of movement?

Guruji: fire element is very important of keeping all the five elements together, including fire element. It acts like catalystic. Water is also like a cold fire. Hydrogen and oxygen are highly flammable gases. Earth element also carries fire within; look inside the atom and you will find the fire.

in what stage of yoga practice the elements become in equal proportion?

Guruji: when you achieve immortality. It’s continuous process.

first we increase fire element with the surya bhedana, then we cool it down, and what after that?

Guruji: all the elements will be tempered only with fire. The essence of fire will wake up in every element. Only then the proportion will become equal. After you temper any metal – it needs cool down in a very- very strong form. It’s like tempering of the physical body.

STRONG ASTRAL BODY

we can say that the elements which we can perceive – like earth, water and fire – are gross; but what about the air and ether?

Guruji: all 5 elements are gross. It is that, that light is reflecting only three so we don’t see air and akash. All five are considered as equally gross. This is the shortcoming of our own vision: it’s designed to just catch the reflection of light. Our vision is impaired – we couldn’t say it’s perfect or we can see everything; we see only 60% of the things.

it exist the creature who could see all 5 elements?

Guruji: I’m sure about it.

GURUJI ABOUT 5 ELEMENTS

why in 4th chapter of Gita Krishna is saying to Arjun that once you will remember you’ll see yourself in all creatures again – why?

Guruji: as a yogi I will say that every creature is created with the different combination of five elements. And 8.4 billion beings are living on planet Earth. We are united as 5 elements: earth element is all pervading; other 4 elements are all prevailing.

So, first you start to realize this- that everything is created with the different combination of 5 elements, you yourself are created with the 5 elements; and then you will begin to see your own extension as this Creation. Or vice versa: you may be extension of some other beings. Ultimately, you will find out: all is one; with a flavour of individuality. 5 elements are unite us.

First – earth element: which yogis call Kundalini, it is in muladhara, which represents earth element; that means main power lives in Earth. That’s why all gods are trying to possess or control earthlings and Earth. Whenever earth element will become very powerful and its power you successfully awake: all 5 elements will have a different nature – and they will never leave, always be with you. It maybe an expression of Time; power of the earth element may be the essence of Time: hypothetically we can say that. Or let’s say: the power of the earth element is its pure consciousness: when it is awaken – you’re united with that and you know everything which is happened on Earth; you will know everything. Isha Upanishad says: whoever knows it – knows everything.

Even they say: the mixture is an illusion; but elements may not even be knowing they are mixing like this and creating different things; they may be just enjoying – they are pure beings – and they don’t know even they are here; in that state of consciousness of different 5 elements you make your presence real – in the world of illusion: that will be the moment of realization for you. And then – Earth will remember you, forever. All 5 elements will remember you forever. You will leave your stamp on the Creation. That’s why Shiva Sutra says: siddha has absolute free existence. Because you have left your mark there.

that realization: is it connected with the “sam rahe” – the equilibrium of all the 5 elements?

Guruji: only when the earth element will awaken and provide its purest and highest consciousness – only then the proper combination will take place. Then they will be in equal proportion. And your life change, and your mental state will be different.

Because of their different expressions they appear differently. Let’s consider it in short: akash element- it’s property is sound, that’s it. It condenses, and sound is power – it is carrying vibration; and vibrations can even destroy or create – they can do anything.

When it is more condensed – it expresses itself as vayu. The basic nature of vayu: it dries up things. Essence of vayu element; it is also formless.

We cannot separate any element; then vayu condenses as fire; then fire is condensing itself into water: what is water but cold fire: hydrogen and oxygen are highly volatile.

And when it is more condensed – it is earth element. Amd you know how much fire is just sleeping inside an atom. It looks like a fire element all the way: different expressions of it.

so it’s like a fusion of all elements?

Guruji: no, fusion is a physical thing; it is just an extension of the main character of fire: it is expressing itself in the different 5 elements. That’s why fire is extremely important thing.

how fire is expressing itself in akash element – I don’t understand?

Guruji: you don’t know the exact properties of akash: it is holding all other 4 elements inside it. He is holding inside it and carrying the same properties. Too different properties cannot unite. They cannot merge together.

Buy simple milk; if you make curd out of it – it is different; you take out butter – it is different; make ghee out of it – it is different. But the essence, the basic material is one. It’s not a good example – but it is nearer. See, he is a man: once his mother was changing his napkins – and now he is grandfather. It is his own extension! That’s how. Now he is changing napkins of his grandson( laughing) – history is repeating itself.

BREAK THE HABITS

what is vayu mandala?

Guruji: it represemts the air layer around Mother Earth. The vayu mandal – the air: and air is the beginning of your existence also and it is the end of your existence also. So: this cobra is catching its own tail: so what is the beginning – is also end. And your breath also proves it: it is your beginning and it’s also your end.

NAME OF THE GAME

Do you know what is dust? Major percent of it – human skin particles.

during the practice we are trying to connect our own heaven with the earth element?

Guruji: earth element and the consciousness of the Earth.

A disciple asked Guruji: Is light gross or subtle?

Guruji answered:

"Light is gross, because it can only illuminate 3 out of 5 elements of matter - Earth, Water, and Fire. It passes through the other two elements - Air and Sky - so they are not visible to us. According to the Indian thought, Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Sky are the five gross elements of material world. We are only able to see the first three, since they reflect light. Since light can only illuminate the grosser elements of matter, it is gross and not subtle.

"This also implies that anything we see, we only see 60% of it, since the two elements - Air and Sky - which light doesn't reflect, we are not able to see. This means that even our physical appearance is only 60% visible; 40% remains invisible!

"Another important thing to note is that only those things which reflect light ultimately go through decay. Those things which don’t reflect light don't. We don't see the destruction of air or sky, but fire, which depends on material objects for its survival, eventually dies out. Water also gets evaporated or gets stale. And solid objects in all forms eventually disintegrate; scientists already have various forms of measurements for that.

"Decay is based on the rays of light. What doesn't reflect light doesn't get decayed.

"We've also read about Babaji that his shadow doesn't form. This means what doesn't reflect light must be immortal!"

in 68 shlocka they also talking about visible and invisible world: what’s the definition of them?

Guruji: well, it’s very simple for me – to give the definition of them: our visibility is very limited – we just see light reflected from three elements – this we call “visible”; from where the light is not reflecting it is invisible for us. When your mind’s eye will become open – your vision will not be depending on vision of light reflecting on different things – then real vision will come. then invisible will become visible. Human definition of visible and invisible are very much limited, we need to understand exactly.

does it mean that when we will become aware of all of that vibrations we could equalize the elements in the body?

Guruji: if you are not aware of the basic structure of the element – how you are going to equalize them? Elements are already there: you’re just putting them in harmony.

this process of equalizing the elements happens by itself?

Guruji: by second awakening it will happen; because you have realized the absolute harmony of different elements, and you are in a situation to make them harmonious even more. They will be at your command. Now we are at the elements’ command.

I feel something is wrong with my muladhar chakra?

Guruji: if there is something wrong with muladhar chakra – you physically will be wreck, couldn’t do anything. If earth element is weak – then you will be continuously sick as long as you live.

same with every element?

Guruji: yes, different type of diseases are connected with them. We call them disease – but that is unbalance, not exact balance of it.

when yogi become accomplished – he will hear the sound OM and could subdivide it on every letter?

Guruji: you will recognize it. Recognize the subdivisions. As you look at the man, - ok, he’s a man; then you become more acquainted with him, recognize the color of his eyes, his hair, different manners – the way of his speech, his body smelling in a different way, walking in a different way – so many details come after. It’s not exact example –but an idea.

5 ELEMENTS&NADA(recorded later)

Then they go down to the 5 elements, which combination forms the body; and when they go and actually recognize earth element – the fourth-petal sounds with the sound “lam” and they hear them together – I mean not one by one; then they go even deeper and within to understand the individuality of these 5 different sounds – these vibrations makes the earth element. And they begin to recognize element after element after element. Every vibration has a different sound, which is part of the nada in general- so these petals or so-called petals, different sounds and seed mantras, which we’re see written – actually, they are sounds, part of the nada, and that is vibration. So first you need to understand the vibration of every element, which is there; and they are giving you the specific direction, that if you’re able to recognize this vibrations and sounds – then you will be very friendly with this particular element – which is part of you already. That’s how all these things came into be.

ABOUT FIVE ELEMENTS

direction for the different actions matters?

Guruji: some people feels the difference. For me now every direction is ok. Now the effect is same.

because we have so much water in us – we’re always trying go back to the water, our source of life?

Guruji: I will explain it – the five elements: first akash appeared out of the Void, the first gross element When it became a little bit more condensed – it was expressed as air. And the basic property of the air is: it dries things. Then air became more condensed and became fire. Then fire became more condensed – it became water; water is cold fire: hydrogen and oxygen are highly volatile things. And when water condensed – it became earth element. In the core of every atom the fire is waiting. So we have earth element- because it came out of the water condensed, but we need to look further – water came from fire. Fire came from air, air came from akash, and akash came from the Void. And Void came from the Time. From where Time came – nobody knows. At least science reached to the level they says – we came from water. Fire, the heat of the dryness, is the key property here, main energy of every element.

even akash?

Guruji: even akash, because it expresses itself as air, which property is drying up. When air condenses – it became fire: without air fire cannot burn. Transformation or evolution.

5 ELEMENTS

…we were just discussing that the whole creation – I mean on Earth at least – is created with help of five different elements. But do we see five elements or they are just in theory? Because what I have noticed – and I’ve been noticing by the few things – that we see only light reflecting on. And light reflecting on only three elements – earth, water and fire. Light is going through the air element, it is not touching the akash element, so these two elements always remain invisible to us. And when I’m look at you or you look at me – we’re not even see three elements: 71% water and more or less 29% of earth element, which are visible to us. Fire element is inside – which is catalyst to bring these two elements together; a very little portion of air element, which animate us. So first against to actually experience all five elements together and somehow to create proportion in your body – equal proportion – then actually your body will be complete. Then your consciousness will follow you.
