In biblian mythology angels have wings; in India nobody is described like that except two gandharvas, who keep singing for Lord Vishnu. Maybe those angels are offspring of Garuda. He is the enemy of snakes – so we see that story in the bible also. We need to connect: maybe it is like that.

How do You feel about the new mahadasha?

Guruji: Feeling good. Very relaxed and very good. Mental attitude suddenly became very positive.

What do You think: when disciples or just normal people are going through the mahadasha of the beneficial planet – they start practicing yoga or other positive activities?

Guruji: Suddenly the very pure thoughts and ambitions start to enter their minds and their lifestyle also improves, becomes better. Many people I see – they begin to read more spiritual things and mythological things; suddenly their mind is in much better condition. I’m feeling good in Jupiter mahadasha; I’m Jupiter in Jupiter now.

But what do You think if this beneficial planet is situated in dusthana?

Guruji: Whatever – the effect will be good.

But when this good period comes to an end, do they stop evolving or not?

Guruji: No, they will keep on evolving, because whatever they have learned in that and experiences – that will remain with them. It's not suddenly it will switch off or they will stop doing everything. But the mental state will become different.

But what I observe: if some good transit or period comes – people appear…

Guruji: Out of the blue – and they disappeared: yes, it is connected.

So they are not serious practitioners?

Guruji: Suppose you’re already practicing: and then like Jupiter mahadasha comes- then your practice will reach very different and higher levels. But some people are starting to practice in that: so they will begin. But your practice will be far more enhanced – because you’re already doing, trying your best from the beginning.

Is it possible to be destined in some disciples that they in this life will be practicing only in that mahadasha?

Guruji: No, this is not like that. Because if interest is born, inherent and you will start your search much before that – transits of planets will influence that also – and then your search, how successful it becomes; that depends on luck and many good planet's situations in your horoscope. Because it is with you from the beginning – you just go and when good mahadasha will come- you will have great success in your practices. But a layman may become interested in these things in that mahadasha. That difference will always remain.

The layman – do they have a very short impulse?

Guruji: Because if it was their real interest – they would be searching for it even before. And motivation is the final thing: if there is no motive – than what for? Let’s see: it’s just started from February – so how far will it go?

You felt the changes from the first day?

Guruji: Yes, you can say it. We’re sensitive. And some positive things also started to happen around. Many irritations simply disappeared…

Government came and built a boundary all over parikrama; so many irritations simply disappeared. This was beyond imagination – that one day the Government will take action and the whole Govardhan hill will be surrounded by strong fencing; and that area will be declared no construction zone- otherwise so many land gravers- because land is expensive here – they were always bothering people here. All ashrams disappeared, all were demolished by the government because it was declared no construction area. I'm the only one remaining inside.

And those constructions behind Your gates?

Guruji: That is going to be demolished. Now there is no construction and no vehicle zone.

Is it true that if lagnesh owns two houses simultaneously: does it mean that the second his own house will always influence the life of the person, for example the 1st and 8th for Tula lagna?

Guruji: 8th house always influences a life, because it carries so many past things; it also indicates how long you will live and how you will live; and how many mysteries of life you will discover, some hidden treasure and all life memories as well. It's a very important house. For Tula lagna – they will be busy in their old memories also, they will be talking too much about the past things – and it will be good for them. I’ve seen many people like that. Like Mesha lagna: their 8th is also ruled by Mars. Hanuman Ji has the same thing- Mesha lagna. But the situation of the 8th lord will create the right reading.

Could we somehow overcome if the transit of the malefic planet is going through lagna?

Guruji: If you’re practicing yoga regularly – it will be neutralized to a great level. If you’re not practicing – the effect will be very severe. But with practice it will be turn down very diluted.

Agree, now it is much less…

Guruji: It will be less.

For example, when he has Sun transit through the 7th house- every year he starts to be allergic?

Guruji: Well, the Sun actually affects the eyes. It may happen exactly in this transit.

But does it have some remedy? Because nothing helps.

Guruji: Try to put some copper on your person then

Copper bhasma?

Guruji: No, just copper, metal. Just wear it. You must try, it may work. 5 grams will do. You can make armour of copper and wear it to work( laughing ).

Sun usually affects eyes if it is in 12th, 1st and 2nd or through such transit. And copper is the metal of the Sun.

… but if it’s not that bad – it’s fine.

A lot of people have a lot of planets in 8th or in 12th house?

Guruji: I f your 8th house is strong it indicates very good success in yoga. 12th house also: the man, whose 12th house is strong or some planet is there – he will think more about esoteric things. He will take very great interest in them. And they will be able to make a balance- material and immaterial things. Every house is equally important. It is just astrological language – that it is malefic, it is beneficial: everything is important.

What about the 6th house? Does it have such an effect on yoga practice?

Guruji: Of course, yes. Depends on who is the 6th lord and where it is situated. But I’ve noticed that 90% of my disciples have strong Jupiter, mostly. It was becoming a pattern to suggest yellow sapphire.

MAGIC AND MODERNITY

…now Saturn is in Sagittarius and will remain there for 2,5 years.

when Saturn is coming to Jupiter sign – it becomes not so strict or hard?

Guruji: for whom?

generally?

Guruji: no

but when it comes to own sign – he becomes stronger?

Guruji: it happens every 30 years – you can compare the situation 30 years before and now. Some effects will be the same.

so we cannot say that if Saturn is in Jupiter sign – the period is more soothe?

Guruji: it depends from person to person. They were saying – the Sun was in Sagittarius for 2000 years and now it is entered to next sign, Capricorn. It will be more wise, more serious, more enjoyable and more spiritual. Let’s hope it will be better and better.

it exists some position of planets or transit of planets when magic is more – or feeling more – on the Earth?

Guruji: I think since 2000 more and more magic will be seen in the world – for the next 2000 years. Time keep changing – it’s an entertainment for Time. We’re nobodies.

There are so many stories – I’m sure witches are flying on brooms – or their flying device may looking like a broom. Magic in the world rising up and falling down – it’s continuous process. I’ve never ever seen a person – girl or man – who doesn’t want to have magical powers. We all love magic.

was it the situation when the magic was on minimum level?

Guruji: it is now. The science is magic – we don’t know it and call it science. Before Christianity it was much-much more magic.

it depends on perception – so we see more magic – or it’s in reality?

Guruji: it was the real movement against magic – because jesus demonstrated it openly and they begin to call it “the power of god”. Even moses magic was duplicated by the magicians of pharaoh. Anything extraordinary – you can call it magic or you can call it the power of god. Magicians were living for thousands of years. It was fantastic time.

Q: which sign in ascendant considered to be good and strong?

Guruji: Sagittarius or Aries. Or Leo – also strong, generally – fiery signs. And position of Mars is also very important. If Mars is in 12 th , 1 st , 4 th , 7 th or 8 th – then the person will have very strong will. He will not bent down in any situation. It also gives great possibilities to success in hatha yoga.

Q: and if ascendant is Kumbha?

Guruji: that means Saturn is ruler. It’s also very strong planet. Your height is because of Saturn: saturnians are usually tall; and I’m Jupiter – jupiterians are usually broad.

Q: what is the translation of the word Yamala?

Guruji: twins. In case of Rudra Yamala – two types of things. Also it is special type of book in tantra.

… maybe Chinese come from gorkhas. Gorakhnath created them out of mud - he create the army for the king of Nepal. I’ve read somewhere that Chinese emperor was paying tax to the king of Nepal – to honor him only. Until unless this connection exist – there is no need pay tax to Nepal, it’s not such a powerful country. Maybe they are descendants of Gorkhas. They look same: if Chinese will come and gorkhas will come – you can not make the difference, it’s the same race.

Q: why Nepal had such earthquake last year – why exactly this country?

Guruji: it can be connected with Kedarnath tragedy. Two years before it was large quake in Kedarnath, then after two years it happen in Nepal. There is some connection also with temples in Kedarnath and Pashupatinath. Kathmandu since it became tourist center - the sanctity is lost, that should be there. In Kedarnath all signs of Shankaracharya simply disappeared. They were flushed. When after the quake the big flood came – the big rock fall down just behind the temple. And water subdivided into two streams – nothing happen to the temple. Maybe it was some steps from Tandava.

…Himalaya are most recent mountains and they keep growing in height. They are very unstable.

ASTROLOGY, ABOUT LUCK

Astrological: logic from the astral.

I saw the persons with great possibilities in their charts – but they don’t realize it?

Guruji: Maybe real good mahadasha they are missing; you see luck plays a big role. Either they have a very small child or young: very important mahadasha passes – he will receive no benefits; or when he is about to go to the final rest in peace: when some good mahadasha comes – he will have no benefit of it. That is luck.

Manuals on jyotish talk about 2 houses of luck: 9th and 5th?

Guruji: And 4th also I will say. If the 4th house is not strong – you will keep on suffering.

I thought it’s more about satisfaction from life?

Guruji: See, if it’s not strong – no satisfaction! No luck.

But for the spiritual realization 9th is more important than 5th?

Guruji: It’s about tapas and showing you the way. But the 4th house will denote spiritual satisfaction both with worldly satisfaction. Satisfaction is a very wide thing: so spiritual satisfaction also it will cover.

And 5th is more for material luck?

Guruji: For intellect and for learning, development of the mind and for children also.

If someone dies in Rahu mahadasha – will he be born in the same mahadasha?

Guruji: Usually. Not a fixed rule – but usually it happens: life is a continuation of previous life.

But a person isn't born immediately after death?

Guruji: Even then – his record will carry with him. It's a very complicated program – but it works.

He has Mercury in his 8th – and always makes mistakes no matter in what language he writes?

Guruji: I also have Mercury in the 8th house – I have no suggestions for this ( l aughing ). Handwriting is not good; my handwriting is also not good. In English it is much easier for me to talk and to read – but difficult to write. I’ve never done any practice in writing English – I’m reading and reading and talking a lot. I also don't have much grammar in English. But without grammar it is ok.

So we must live very long to overcome all the planetary influence?

Guruji: Astrological chart is creating only 120 years of mahadashas. If you go beyond that – you’re beyond planetary effect. You will be a free person without the influence of any planet. Maybe you will be able to make your own decisions after that. And I think if you cross 120 years you will be wise enough to do that.

Even in appearance it will be seen?

Guruji: I think so. Here one of the Bengali sadhus died exactly at the age of 120 years Manohar Das baba: so he went away a free man.

What I observe during the last years: even transits influence my mind and the decisions I take…

Guruji: Yes, that’s how they affect. Stop bothering, relax! Flow with life, let it be. You see, when I was a young man, unemployed man – nobody who ever could see my horoscope said : you will be a yogi and a Guru. Now every astrologer says : of course, it is there!

MAGIC OR SCIENCE

could the excellent astrologer say about person’s strong planets just by seeing him?

Guruji: yes, very easily.

and if he see the chart?

Guruji: he will easily said if the chart is right or not - whether it fits.

most common belief of Christian priests is - if you will do some asanas all hindu spirits will immediately come to you; what do You think on that?

Guruji: if you do jesus asana on rings or bars – jesus spirit will come to you? No comment

YOGIS RESPECT LIFE

can you see the strong planets in the chart by appearance?

Guruji: very easily. Many good astrologer students can see the planets or the sign. Planets are not our enemies not our friends – they just show a situation.

can strong Rahu and Ketu be seen?

Guruji: of course; if Rahu is dominate – the jaw will be more.

and Ketu?

Guruji: like my face. Not exactly – but some traces.

could we see the possibilities for yoga practice in the chart?

Guruji: he must be already the deep thinker and a very sensitive person. Then something inner must trigger the thought that he must – or she must – do yoga. The inclination must be already there from the beginning. Then suddenly it is revealed and go up there. Chart will show the possibilities, but it depends on what point we’re see it – it can be materialistic point also. I think yogi will remain the rare thing.

Yogis were always vegetarian. Even meat eating was very common in the time of Vedas – but yogis were always remain separate. Those times only yogis were vegetarians. I think only yogis can respect life – that even a bird has the same rights to live – or even a fly. When you begin to know more about life – you’ll begin to love and respect it.

One day I was having a break and saw the crack in the wall. The child insect were sitting there and looking at me; then he suddenly disappeared inside the crack and after a few seconds his papa came to look at me. Maybe he was going and say to him that giant is looking at me and wants to kill the fly – then papa came to see me and approved that everything is ok. It’s amazing to observe the feelings of different insects.

ALITTLE BIT ASTROLOGY. RAHU KETU AND SATURN.

is it true that sade-sati returns karmas of the previous 30 years?

Guruji: no-no; in fact sade-sati establishing you in your career and in society and in your own, whatever thing you’re trying to. It’s a very good time.

from where it started that everyone became to be afraid of it?

Guruji: from most of the professional astrologers: they will frighten you – and then of you pay this much we will try to do something. Sade-sati is giving a good opportunity to many astrologers to make good money, pandits also.

But in my opinion Saturn, Shani Maharaj is a great teacher. He teaches you the hard way, but he teaches well.

but we discussed that Rahu also is a great teacher?

Guruji: Rahu is the very mysterious thing: his head Shiva Ji put in his own skull garland – he is the only living head there. he is very close to Shiva Ji, he also represents Kundalini. All mystical arts Rahu represents; so Rahu’s influence is very much needed for spiritual progress. So of Ketu as well.

what is the difference in influence of Rahu and Ketu?

Guruji: Ketu is the very peaceful planet because it is headless. It is body without head, but still alive. Wherever it will be – it will give the very great strength to that place or to the planet. Rahu is the head, ruling superconsciousness and all these things. Both of their influence is needed.

why so much people is suffering from Rahu?

Guruji: he is trying to give you the spiritual knowledge and you’re running from it – some clashes will definitely come.

Rahu creates the situation?

Guruji: he’s not creating, he’s just showing the certain period of your karma results. They are not enemies, not friends: they just showing you what you have done in your past.

but the ways of showing Rahu and Saturn are very different?

Guruji: yes. But in ancient texts it is said that Rahu acts like Saturn and Ketu acts like Mars.

what do You think about stories from Robert Svoboda’s book about Saturn?

Guruji: most of them are fabricated. We’re very good at creating stories. When you will always take a truth and continuously speak the truth – everything will be extremely boring; so some added flavor is needed( smiling). If somebody will ask you, where you going; as truthful you will say: I’m going to toilet. But if you will ask my suggestion, I’ll say: put some romance in it! What should you say? I’m going there even presidents and kings go on foot. You’re telling the truth – but romance is here. This is brilliant thing!

I’m going where the fruits of my karma leaves me

Guruji: finally. No, you should say: I was just providing raw material to the factory which is in my stomach and now leave as a finished product.

Planets are just showing you the possibilities. It is question of Gorakhnath from Gorakhbodh – about influence of planets: they don’t interfere, they just showing you the certain situation.

THE MOON AND YOUR PERSONALITY

could I ask You about 16th part of the Moon which is hidden?

Guruji: Raka, yes

it is connected with the state of the mind; but what part is connected with which state?

Guruji: that will depend on which phase you are born: that phase will have more impact on your mind.

so it’s individual, not like Purnima is like full awaken state for everyone?

Guruji: no, depend on which phase of Moon you were born, first exposure. That will have a lasting impact on your side – whole personality. Also I’ve seen those who were born early morning: they can get up very early in the morning without feeling anything. Those, who are born in the evening or night – impossible for them to get up early. Psychic starts from that moment – so they feel good at that. I’m very lucky I was born in the evening – no complains. Remember, Moon is very important: all 27 nakshatras are his wives – he is controlling so many things. Or giving energy for so many things.

PLANETS AND FUTURE

what do You think of the future connection of Shani and Rahu?

Guruji: they are saying that Rahu and Saturn has almost same properties, so it will enhance that power to the great degrees. They will meet in Mina; so the chapter is closing and new is beginning. I think it is started at 1999. I think pandemy will go; more peace will follow and people will be more mature and sober. They will start to learn the importance of home; so instead of creating a house now they will start building a home, that’s the main point.

we noticed that at last prayashchitta 5 planets were in Capricorn; and in 2020 again it was 5 planets in Capricorn…

Guruji: and it started: every pandemic is like prayashchitta. People take stalk of what they are done and what they are doing. We say that planets have their meeting to decide their future, skip what to do next. Usually exactly in Capricorn this meeting takes place. Maybe Saturn is very important.

HOW ASTROLOGY WORKS?

Okay. Record!

Many people say that whether astrology valid or not, does it work or not work.

I say that if you are a good astrologer, you know how to reach situations of the planets, you can predict that there is going to be rain: a person who doesn’t know this will know to take an umbrella, but because you know astrology - you will take an umbrella where you have to be, but it will rain. It will rain, but you will take an umbrella, this is how astrology works!

FAITH IN ASTROLOGY

…drought …no rains, nothing…

So some people decided to do a yagya for invoking the rains, big crowd gathered , but only one child was having faith, only that child took umbrella with him, he was sure, it will rain, because so much things is going on. Having faith is good. It’s saves you from time to time!

PART 2 | QUALIFICATION

could the success in alchemy be seen from the chart?

Guruji: I think the 8 th house plays a very major role in it- about mystical knowledge and all these scientific experiments. It must have the strong influence of Mars, Venus and the 9 th lord. 8 th house should be very powerful, it is the key of all mystical knowledge and information.

could be seen that the person will be interested in that but failed in experiments?

Guruji: of course, it’s easily seen. It depends on approach of the person; if his 9 th lord is not strong enough and 4 th lord is also weak – then even though he may have great interest but he will be not successful in some of them. It’s a combination of so many things. And ultimately if luck is supporting him – it’s a different story. When I was in home town we were doing a lot of experiments because it was good enough team around me; but in Govardhan it is more isolation – so team is not there after the death of old man, ayurvedic doctor. Maybe some people will come.

and could success in magical rituals can be seen from the chart?

Guruji: we have the saying here that the wrestling career and tantra career or ghostly career last for only 12 years, no more than that. The influence of Rahu must be strong and again the 8 th house. All secret knowledge and mysterious things connected with that.

the processes on mercury considered as the hardest one?

Guruji: all 8 are not easy. And they get harder and harder, every next process is harder than the previous. if they were easy everybody could be doing them. I still have not see ayurvedic expert, who was able to do all 18 processes of mercury. I’ve never heard of anyone. You need to be extremely experienced and knowledgeable to tackle it. And a motive should be there, which is usually missing.

SATURN'S GRACE OR SADE SATI

what is Kalachakra?

Guruji: the Time - from beginning to end as we perceive it – a Kalachakra to us.

it is said that one of it is anger and delusion, one is enjoyment and delusion, etc?

Guruji: everything is sort of keeping us bound inside Time. It’s more like kleshas.

what should we do while going through sade sati?

Guruji: I’m going through it myself and I think it’s a very good thing. Shani maharaj is a great teacher.

it’s possible to be born in sade sati?

Guruji: of course – I was born in sade sati. An influence of Saturn: the roof of my room changed – because we couldn’t find enough large wooden beam – so no iron one is in its place and now I have iron above me. That is the grace of Saturn.

sade sati is different for yogis and for ordinary people?

Guruji: for us Saturn support is the very great support, because he teaches you from the very different perspective. He will just simply remove your ego –but you will gain great wisdom. I’ve seen that the most egoistic arrogant persons learned to say “sir” to others.

That’s his way of teaching. I think everybody should welcome that. People have so much fear – that they will suffer from this and that; but he’s the great teacher, I will say. My five books were written in the sade sati time. Now Gorakhbodh is also completed in sade sati. In the last few months of sade sati I’ve owned this place.

YOGI AND PLANETS

Yogi is open for new experiences and new emotions and new exposures; so when a yogi is going through different planetary situation – his reaction and learning will be different when the other ones.

Ketu dasha is more peaceful than Rahu?

Guruji: comparatively – yes.

Ketu is always bringing something to an end – situations, relationship?

Guruji: you see, Ketu is headless, Rahu is the head. Whichever planet is influenced the Ketu – that effect will come in Ketu time. They both – with Rahu – became immortal. Rahu did so much tapas, so Shiva allowed him to be in a garland of his skulls. Rahu is a great helper for yogis. So much mystical knowledge appears in the period of Rahu.

in many books is written that Rahu is always beneficial for revolutionists?

Guruji: it’s common reading. I’ll give you an example which no one has ever given before. We have a story of Hanuman.

STORY OF HANUMAN

He was the very young child, he was hungry and the sun was rising – he thought it’s a fruit so he begin to fly to eat it. He was near the sun and it was an eclipse time – so Rahu was near the sun. and Rahu thought – who is this another Rahu, he is coming to grab the sun? he went to the king of the gods, Indra, and ask him for help in this unexpectable situation. Indra came and struck Hanuman with his thunderbolt – vajra – to his jaw. Hanuman fell down and the wind – Vayu, his father – took him into his lap and entered the cave. Out of the anger he just stopped everybody’s breathe – and people begin to suffer. Finally all gods had to appear in that cave – including Brahma, Yamaraj, Indra and others – and everybody had to grant special power to Hanuman. My interpretation is: it is because of Rahu was a catalytic agent Hanuman got all these powers. This is the way of looking at it. That was the influence of Rahu in Hanuman Ji’s life.

Ketu gives the possibility of liberation?

Guruji: if it is in Pisces or in Jupiter’s houses – yes. Here it supposed to be very calm and peaceful and quiet planet. But Rahu creates a situation. Such simple story – but you can learn so much out of it. What does it mean: Rahu creates special situation when you’re going into breathless condition – then all the gods will appear and give you powers. That is another interpretation. It’s effect of yoga: it opens up your mind, your consciousness develops and you begin to think.

Jupiter is Guru and he is giving you education – Saturn also, but in another way?

Guruji: Saturn is creating situations - out of those situations you can learn. He is practical teacher.

You already told us that Rahu creates the situations; but how such strong planets are for the yogis?

Guruji: every planet is good for the yogis. Every planet has something to teach. Shukracharya is the great teacher: he knows how to bring dead back to life. He can give you eternal life, eternal youth – he is most powerful being. Shiva called him his son.

what about Mercury?

Guruji: he is the messenger of the gods. He can bring you so many messages from the other side. Yogi can learn from any situation.

outer planets – like Uranus and other – has no big power and influence?

Guruji: no, they might have some power. But till today – not much. Maybe on immortals – it could be that – or on very long-lived beings.

HOW JYOTISH BEGINS

Someone asks about astrology how it came into being.

I just told him, when with the great practice of Yoga, first I quoted YogaSutras:

Kurmnadym sthairyam : after 24 minutes of kumbhak - Kurma nadi becomes stable: then you see light of God in your head, Murdha,Ishwari jyoti!

Jyot Ish - the light of the Ishwar, he began to see.

And it will take your awareness into a very very high level, and you will begin to appreciate the TIME, which is the essence of all, Iswar, Time, - are one and the same.

Then your awareness becomes even more, and you begin to appreciate different expressions of the Time.

And you become aware of the planets and the stars and all these things.

Then when your awareness grows more, you begin to appreciate the effect of a certain star situation on the certain individual.

Then you become finer and finer and finer and finer.

Then you also realise, that planets and stars are not your enemies, not your friends: they are just showing a special situation of the result of your karma.

The probable future and the possibility, and what you have done before, and what you will see in the future-so-called future.

Otherwise Time is Time.

So that’s how the awareness about Jyotish, in my opinion, begin.

did someone ever calculate the horoscopes for Duryodhana or Ramachandra?

Guruji: yes, the horoscopes of Ramachandra, Shri Krishna and Hanuman – they are all available.

how is possible to calculate the horoscope of Hanuman who is immortal being?

Guruji: you see – that’s a beauty of India. He was born, and the planetary situation of his birth time is given in puranas. We are not going through grigorian calendar; in puranas are given the planetary situation in that particular moment. Rama’s horoscope is available, Krishna’s horoscope is available, even Ravana’s horoscope is available.

so Hanuman has no point of death in his horoscope?

Guruji: yes, I’ve seen his horoscope and it is extraordinarily powerful. It tells that he might achieve immortality or extraordinarily long life. Very mighty and powerful horoscope.

and maybe you can say it exists some similarity in these horoscopes – maybe some position of the planets?

Guruji: in Hanuman’s chart – as much I remember – Mars is a dominate planet. He is his lagna and also the eighth lord which is sitting in the first house, giving him extraordinary physical strength, great anger and great bravery – so many things. And it is also indicated that he remain unmarried.

what do you think about the story about Ravana held all the planets?

Guruji: when Indrajit was born – yes, they all were in his eleventh house. I think this story is true.

how it’s possible to hold the planets in one position?

Guruji: when you defeated everybody and when you have crossed the age 120 – you’re already gone beyond the influence of nine planets. Guruji: some influence will remain but with the very regular practice of yoga the planets will have very less negative influence and more positive. That’s good news.

Guruji: according to karma.

Guruji: you should use your knowledge and be careful with the people born in inimical nakshatra for yours. It’s common thing because of karma, nature and variety of humanity.

Guruji: don’t show your chart to anyone – and you will remain relaxed and happy.

what lifestyle should be during Sade Sati?

Guruji: normal life. You’re practicing yoga: the effect will be positive. Shanidev is a greatest judge and a greatest teacher: so great wisdom will come to you, when you’ll going through Sade Sati.

I’ve seen: in the period of Sade Sati most arrogant and egoistic people learn to say “Sir”. It’s great teaching, everybody must have it.

ASTRO RECOMMENDATIONS

Guruji: this is what they write, yes. I think it actually happens.

Guruji: so, avoid travelling.

Guruji: better be careful: stay home and practice Kriya yoga.

because someone says it is good for destroying the enemies or to fight?

Guruji: even if it comes to a fight – you have to be very careful. If the person is stronger than you – namaste and say “sorry”. If you are stronger than him – than give him a piece of your mind. And be sure to run away quickly before police arrives. That is local adventure. But try to avoid that!

Then one thing: I had a disciple in Caribbeans; one woman was after him – who was 20 years older than him. She arrived there: I will not leave – until you will marry me, I will not leave. Then – he was my disciple: for one week she was harassing him, then god smiled on him: he simply went to the policeman and punched him several times – and he was taken to the prison for 6 months. And her visa was expired before that. Police saved him! ( laughing). he got free boarding and lodging.

Q : what is astrological influence here?

Guruji : planetary situation will show you what karmas you have done and what results you can expect in this lifetime. No planet is your friend and no planet is your enemy – they just show you particular situation.

Q : the person achieved Samadhi will reincarnate on the Earth again?

Guruji : he will get a better birth than that one in which he achieved Samadhi and better physical genetics also. Until the planetary situation is exactly synchronized to that point - he or she will wait. Perfect body anybody wants.

Q : so spirit can bring only perfect physical condition in next reincarnation?

Guruji : only memories. The family is powerful with the very good genetics – then the spirit may come with the same genetics also but with much enhanced mental power and spiritual capacities. He will have the deeper understanding of the subject from the very beginning. He will start practice or his search for learning will start very soon.

JYOTISH INFLUENCE OF THE PLANET ON LIFE

This form of astrology works only in this solar system – not all over the Universe. Maybe in some other galaxy different planets and different stars, so they will have the different system of astrology and different system of planets and stars.

but if in probable future some people will be born on Mars, for example?

Guruji: maybe they will mention the influence of the Earth – who knows? In the Martian astrology chart Mars will go missing and Earth will play an important role. Earth is life-giver to us: whatever we are getting – coming from Earth; but the planets are showing the impact and results of your own karmas. You cannot study Earth for that.

when astrology was created – what was its actual purpose?

Guruji: astrology was not created; some rishis became aware of the influence of the planets, connected with certain karmas. They are showing us certain situation only. They are not your friends, they are not your enemies: they are showing the situation. And all planets are living beings, according to them.

they also have their own consciousness?

Guruji: yes, and their births are described in Vayu Purana and other different scriptures. It is fantastic subject. If you will live more than 120 years – they will not influence you anymore. It’s a simple criterion of an emancipated person – if he is beyond 120 years of age. Nowadays not many people are go even near that.

so Bhishma and Dronacharya was not affected by the planets in Mahabharata battle?

Guruji: no, not at all! They were beyond karma.

so anything that could be done by them will not influence them?

Guruji: but others( smiling)

so how the gemstones are influence us?

Guruji: your body is earthly body. And gems and jewels are from the Earth. So if you will wear them intelligently- it will have direct impact on your mind. And with good influence your decisions will be very positive. Positive decisions will create positive future. Bad decisions will mislead you.

PLANETARY INFLUENCE AND PRACTICE

As long as you are less than 120 years old – all the planets movement will affect you. And instead of trying to remain safe or escape from them, go to different astrologers; we must learn to face the situation and also we must try to develop our own intelligence – that's how to tackle the situation which is there and what you can learn out of it. Every situation is there to teach you something , the learning continues; so concentrate on that.

Guruji: The negative effect will not be so much. Some irritation will come; but without practice – bigger things will happen.

Yes, I remember the previous transit of Rahu through Vrishabh – it was a very hard time. Now it’s also not so sweet – but not so hard as it was then

Guruji: See: even the same situation – but not to that level. But then your mahadasha must be different then, you will have to consider them also. I will say – my good time began when I received grace from my Guru. That is the major difference.

ASTROLOGICAL INDICATORS FOR DEATH

Guruji, have You seen Osho’s chart?

Guruji: yes, I have seen it.

what do You think, which is right: one people are saying he had Mesha lagna with 5 or 6 planets in the ninth house; others are saying – he had Vrishabha lagna with all the planets in the 8th house?

Guruji: Vrishabha lagna looks more appropriate: if Mesha lagna – he would be still living.

if two marakas are in powerful transit – could the person die?

Guruji: anything is possible. I saw many such cases.

even it’s the good period of 5th, 9th lord or lagnesh?

Guruji: it happens. It is like a destiny. I've seen 4-5 people dying in the mahadasha of their ascendant, which usually never happens, but they are gone.

maybe in that cases ascendant lord managing also the 6th or the 8th house?

Guruji: or maybe the ascendant mahadasha started late in their life.

but they had some indications towards sudden death?

Guruji: there is no fix theory about it.

that is strange: mostly in the death case marakas lords or 8th lord must be involved – or Saturn or Rahu mahadasha?

Guruji: ascendant I have seen 4-5 cases.

if some bad transit comes and brings the disease: if we do nothing – will it pass with the end of a transit?

Guruji: the transit will force you to go to the doctor and take medicine.

is it possible to survive if two marakas are switched on?

Guruji: if the ascendant is very powerful. It could be some sickness or could even be nothing. It depends on the situation of the ascendant, how much powerful it is. And the 8th lord: if it is in the good position in the centre of the chart - then you may survive.

I had such a situation when two marakas were involved

Guruji: that was serious time

and I survived only bu Your grace: for 2-3 years I was vomiting every day.

Guruji: and how much days it took to cure you?

very fast – one week or maybe 10 days. All the doctors were saying that everything is good according to the blood and other tests – but I was totally yellow. It is only Your blessing that I survived.

Guruji: maybe. And it was your good luck: you were here, I had that thing: it all came together and you survive. Ultimately it is a luck, which counts.

I was 64 kgs – now I'm 81.

Guruji: for your height it’s very thin. It was a serious situation. It was pure good luck that I was able to discover that and I was able to collect it – you already know the story how. That team was very active in Gwalior; here – many different things, but not that. But still we keep collecting from time to time.

SHANI ASHTAMA

Shani ashtama – the transit through the eight house – can be much harder than sade sati. Ancient astrologers says: wherever Saturn is situated – it will improve that; but whomsoever Saturn will aspect – that will create problems. When Saturn is in the eight house – it is looking at the 10 th house: work will suffer, father’s side will suffer; 7 house is like your talk, your property – that matter will also suffer and also in the family will be some tensions. This transit is more problematic: look of Saturn is dangerous.

Guruji: nothing, you just face it.

if Rahu is conjoined with the planet: how it will affect its power?

Guruji: only to Saturn it will improve power. It will increase only the power of Saturn. Other planets – they power will go down. Only Saturn will become more powerful. There is a sutra in astrology: Ketu is like Mars and Rahu is like Saturn.

so what will be with other planets if they will conjoin with Ketu?

Guruji: they will go down only with Rahu; Ketu will enhance their power because he is headless. But if it is with Moon – it is considered that some money problem will remain. Periods and transits of Ketu gives wisdom and so many things. I got this place in Ketu’s time. Ketu and Moon.

what if Ketu is in 2nd house?

Guruji: you will talk too much about moksha, yoga and all these things.

I want to ask You about memory: I completely forget about things which has no more meaning for me – is it because of planets?

Guruji: this is real Atit Ghat( laughing), no problem.

Are there vampires in the world? Yes, and we call them “relatives”.

Guruji is it true that if the person has Guru Chandala yoga in his chart – he will never accept any authority in his life?

Guruji: he will always remain in conflict mentally. They can accept – but their mind is always in conflict.

they perceive themselves as higher than others?

Guruji: not always; they will remain disturbed.

I observed one person, who has double transit – Rahu through Jupiter and Jupiter through Rahu at the same time…

Guruji: it will be many emotional problems

is it a kind of bad luck?

Guruji: it is not exactly bad luck; but even if they have enough money – because of the emotional trauma they can’t be enjoying anything. That can be bad luck.

could tapas help in such situation?

Guruji: only – but it is very difficult to reach a decision to do tapas. And they may love the company of low people.

how the bad company is working? Even in yoga texts it is mentioned like an obstacle

Guruji: 16th chapter of Gita writes about it: if you have some inherent properties of bad – you will mixing up with bad people very easy.

I remember when I got diksha – all people surrounding me or disappear or began to behave differently, or…

Guruji: because you were connected with the Guru: it givepower to your Jupiter in your chart, extra power – so all the bad influence slowly-slowly went away. Same thing happen with me also.

that precious knowledge that You give us – it really breaks all stereotypes in any discipline – from yoga postures to astrology; mostly all of it is incorrect – and you correct us every time…

Guruji: that’s true. It is my duty as a Guru.

I got this place when Ketu was in Moon; and according to astrology it cannot happen. But it happen. Ketu supports me.

interesting how it is connected with yoga practice: because Ketu is the body without head?

Guruji: that’s why any planet with Ketu – its power Ketu will increase. Now I’m in my Jupiter. And most of my students came in their Jupiter period or sub-period; I’m a pure Jupiterian – so I think it has to be like this. Almost everyone here is wearing yellow sapphire.

JYOTISH NAKSHATRAS

why it happens: for example you lost contact with some person – he travel somewhere far; but in a few weeks the person with the same nakshatra came to my life?

Guruji: because it’s a part of your destiny. And his also. It is a very valid observation. So no matter who – but the karma with certain nakshatra must be worked out, that is true. Fantastic game plan!

it exists some low and some higher nakshatras?

Guruji: no, it depends on the person and his vibrations. You must consider the situation of other planets also. But now I think you’re right: because I have seen mostly similar charts – but the persons are very different. It depends on so many things – social background, family background.

The expression can be low and high. I remember – maybe you also remember it: I was introduced to Shailendra Sharma; I looked at him – all white hairs, big belly hanging…and he was living where I was born. Now he is no more. That was fantastic thing: I was born in Bhopal – he lived in Bhopal. I’m doing sadhana – his wife’s name was Sadhana. I’m doing puja, I have shraddha and astha – faith; and he had three daughters: Puja, Shraddha and Astha.

JYOTISH THE POWER OF A NAME, SHUKRACHARYA

ok, people maybe born in the same place and even in the same hour: but vargas must be different?

Guruji: there is a question also: twins – they have exactly the same chart, but still their destinies are different. In ParasharaSamhita the answer is given: because the names are different. That will create a different effect. Name also carries a lot of energy. Names of twins are different – so their path will be different.

what we talked about nakshatras – it could be applied to the chart also: if the 8th house is strong…

Guruji: it will depend on the situation of the ascendant. If ascendant is not good, not powerful, the lord is not in a friend house or debilitated – it will bring low frequency. And nakshatra will reflect on that. So whatever is there – you need to see the real situation of the ascendant, 9th lord and 4th lord. It will determine everything.

if the 9th is very powerful, the 4th and even 5th is powerful, but ascendant is weak – what then?

Guruji: that means everything will be available – but that person won’t be able to enjoy it. And we were discussing:whoever is coming here – Jupiter is very important: mostly everyone is wearing emerald and yellow sapphire.

for example for Vrishabha lagna the same role will play the Venus?

Guruji: Shukrcharya is also Guru! Shukracharya maybe even more interesting than Jupiter -he is Guru of Daityas, Netherworld. All entertainment is there!

KARMIC PLATFORM AND MENTALITY

You told us about conditions for the yogi, concerning Jupiter and Mars; but if both are in the one sign?

Guruji: great possibilities in success in pranayama. They enhance each other power.

we saw charts with exactly signs – but person is not interested even in physical training and don’t want to hear about yoga practice?

Guruji: that is another point: possibilities are there, but you look at the Moon and Lord of the first house – if all the possibilities will be done, everybody could become a siddha easily. Karmic platform and mentality is very important.

what is the best position of the Moon for the yogi?

Guruji: the ninth lord plays very important role in that. If ninth lord having enough influence on the Moon and the ascendant and the ascendant and on the Lord of the ascendant – spiritual thoughts will be there.

karmic effect could stop us?

Guruji: you’re already too much into yoga. To become a yogi too much things are involved – not only ascendant and situation of Mars. They just hints the possibilities of success.

is it true that if Mars is in fifth house it’s very good for the sportsmen?

Guruji: it’s mixed diagnosis – take manuals more or less like guidance; so many things are considered to be for it. If only Mars is there and ascendant is weak – nobody will do anything. The first thing you should notice is the power of the ascendant, first, fourth and ninth houses. These are the key points. The ascendant lord is looking on his own house – then ascendant is strong. It’s very good sign. In this chart it means the Saturn is increasing his own power. Venus is the ninth lord and sitting with your ascendant lord – they are giving extra power to your ascendant. It’s also very good sign.

what’s another criteria of power of ascendant?

Guruji: it should be in the center or in very friendly sign, or exalted. Saturn and Venus are very friendly because Saturn is exalted in Venus sign.

Guruji: 9th lord has to be powerful. With lagna lord and 4th house lord. It’s a combination.

if only 8th is strong – it’s not connected with the yoga practice?

Guruji: not always with spirituality; but he will remain in mysteries of…. So many different mysteries.

because in some manuals they are saying that 9th lord is giving more connection with religion?

Guruji: it is, - but it is house of luck also. We cannot simply categorize it like that.

someone says that 8th and 9th houses like are opposite sides: 8th is like mysteries and hidden knowledge, yoga and tantra; and 9th is like religion?

Guruji: 8th house also tells you how long you’re going to live. And if it will be the powerful life or just a weak life; because if life is weak – then whatever you will do, you will keep just praying to god and people will think you’re very religious. But it’s a very different thing. It’s a very rare journey, not so easy.

but it’s the most interesting journey

Guruji: not initially – but then, after some time

Okay, record. Yes. Many people say that whether astrology is valid or not, does it work or not work. I say that if you are a good astrologer, you know how to read the situation of the planet, you can predict that there is going to be rain. A person who doesn't know this will not take an umbrella, but because you know astrology, you will take an umbrella. Where you have to be, but it will rain. Guruji:

it depends on the movement of the Jupiter planet: this year it moves much faster – so it went to that particular sign, where it used to be: that’s why Kumbha Mela was shifted. It always connected with the movement of the Jupiter.

Q:

it must be in the earth sign – or all the planets must be there?

Guruji:

all the planets of Kumbha Mela are connected with the Jupiter. It moves faster than normal – that’s why. This year it happens.

Q:

can we say that now Jupiter is very weak because it’s in Shani sign?

Guruji:

being in Shani sign also considered as the cancellation of everything; maybe that time it will be much more than ever. He was very material – suddenly it becomes more spiritual. People also will become much more spiritual with that: this is how it moves on.

Is it true that Cancer and Leo lagnas are suffering more from Shani in Capricorn?

Guruji: yes, because with the Sun and Moon he is not in a good relationship. But not always – because sade sati happens with the Moon sign. Saturn gives very profound wisdom and knowledge, which only he can give. In my sade sati period 4 books came. Last sade sati: Gita’s commentary, Yoga Darshan commentary, Shiva Sutra’s commentary – they were very hi-fi. And in this sade-sati Gorakhbodh came, Upanishad of Immortality came, Hatha Yoga Pradipika came.

what do You feel, the tail of sade sati is more powerful?

Guruji: it’s a debatable point: for some people – it is. In Rahu mahadasha with sade sati fantastic discussions take place. Rahu is a great teacher. And as they say in nature they are very close – Saturn and Rahu. Ketu and Mars and Saturn and Rahu.

but Rahu is totally crazy, no?

Guruji: he is a part of Shiva’s skull garland, the only living head there. He must be knowing too much.

Shiva Ji likes entertainment?

Guruji: I think if you are an eternal being – only entertainment matters finally here. What else? Till eternity you cannot remain serious all eternity there.

Rahu gives a very different sense of humour?

Guruji: I will say – I was affected by that. And all Russians and Ukrainians tolerated my terrible sense of humour (smiling): in Rahu’s period it was beyond my control. Many wrong directions came in those days (laughing)

Guruji, your sade sati has finished?

Guruji: Not yet, it is in the last phase. Next year, finally, it will be over. It will be finished — then Saturn will come back again: that will be an interesting time.

Almost 30 years back, when the sade sati — I was in the last phase and Saturn came out in Kumbh, retrograded into Capricorn again — I got this place. So we will see! The feeling is good.

But Saturn is not your benefactor?

Guruji: I’ve always felt good whenever a period of Saturn was in any dasha or sade sati. In the last sade sati I wrote 5 books. In the last phase I got this place, left Gwalior and came here. Saturn is blessing me.

Saturn is the worshipper of Shiva Himself, carries a trident and rides a vulture. There were more than 70 vultures living on the roof — so Saturn was already looking.

What I see — your disciples are going through Shani dashas or transits very lightly in comparison with “normal” people?

Guruji: Most of them — yes. Somehow all the astrologers put great fear in people: now everything will be this and that when Saturn comes… but I felt good.
