Return of karma

RETURN OF KARMA

if some senior government or policeman officer are taking your money or property or insult you and you have no law to protect yourself – could you use that power?

Guruji: no, you should not use that power. You should behave like a citizen in that situation – there are always ways. That’s a problem with the power: in small thing you will be ready to use – and that will create the very bad karmas and so many problems. That’s why it is said that yogis should avoid contact with normal people: they will always taunt you, they will provoke you. So avoid the contact.

I’m not pretend to be the greatest yogi, but sometimes the situations…

Guruji: I know you – you’re forgiving type and that is the best: you have insulted me – are you satisfied? Anything more? You have to slap here – that is my other cheek. That’s the best thing. You can say sorry after somebody slaps you: oh, this is not your fault – you were just lifting your hand and my face come on the way.

but if something bad happen with that person – that karma will touch me also?

Guruji: no, that is bad karma of who is slapping you. You’re not a saint that you will continue to please the person who is crucifying you.

if someone pay the money to tantric to make some ritual on someone – whom karma will follow?

Guruji: both of them. To whom pay the money – more. Who did the ritual is suffering already. I’ve never seen them happy. But who is paying the money – he is pulling the trigger, he will suffer.

if you’re knowing for sure that someone put harm on you by such ritual?

Guruji: if you’re a good yogi – it will rebound, go back to him.

if I’m an angry person…

Guruji: you’re an angry person? You should see my in anger.

is there any method to make karma of such angry things coming back earlier?

Guruji: I can give you only one example: in college I’ve give beating to one boy- he provoking me unnecessarily so I’ve gave him a beating. If you had the sever beating – you never forget this incident. When we see each other – he was always avoiding contact and he will always remember I gave him beating. Then he developed the nice person after that.

Once we met face to face on a market – after I have become a Guru; he was with the wife and 2 children. When we came face to face – he was suddenly alert, but we never talk with him after that beating for so many years. He was with his family and suddenly afraid that I might insult him or something like that: I was physically much stronger than him. I looked at him and I thought – this is not a good thing. I said – hello – and he looked at me very cautious. I said: I’m very sorry we had a clash that times; please, forgive me, let’s be friends. Suddenly all his personality changed: he smiled, shook my hand and he introduced me to his wife and said to his children – say “namaste” to uncle- and he was treated me with the coffee and some sweets. I went away feeling very well; and I also know that he went away feeling very well.

And I’m sure – he’s feeling good even now. In my town there are thousands of my photos, so whenever he’s going he can say – you see, he is my friend. It came to my mind that I should do it: not everybody is ready to say “sorry”. They could fight again – but they never said “sorry”. Maybe because he was with his wife his mood was different – but I’m sure now he’s remembering me with good feelings.

HOW TO ESTABLISH IN BRAHMACHARYA?

TAKE RESPONSIBILITY — dominance expressions, karma not forgiveness

TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

the responsibility: the ability to take response on yourself?

Guruji: not many people are ready for that; but dominance may have so many different expressions. Emotional dominance, physical dominance, psychological dominance, financial dominance, social dominance, political dominance – it’s very wide.

could we say that if the person is really responsible for his acts; could it be considered like dominance?

Guruji: most of the religions are telling you not to be responsible for what you have done: god will grant you forgiveness. Only in India the theory of karma applies: what you have done – you will have. Nobody will keep forgiveness in mind. If god is forgiving you – it means he already forgotten you, you’re no longer in his imagination. You’re not part of his consciousness or imagination or whatever: maybe he is not responsible.

HUMAN NATURE IS TO DOMINATE

Born in a good family — 7 generations, 120 years, Ganges water and invoking spirits

BORN IN A GOOD FAMILY

7 geneartions, 7 dhatus, 7 chakras.

what about lifespan of 120 years?

Guruji: that means after that astrological influence will stop.

how the drinking of water from Ganges: could it remove that karmas of 7 generations?

Guruji: it will create some very positive decisions in your mind.

but it will not remove all that past karmas?

Guruji: but the decisions you will follow and you will start working towards it.

now in this incarnation karmas of 7 generations are following us?

Guruji: we are result of that.

and in previous incarnation we also had this influence – 4 from mother’s side and 3 from father’s side; so are they influence us now?

Guruji: they are! Mostly people take birth in the same line. In India at least.

it is because of certain ritual we are pulling to the same line?

Guruji: nobody is pulling: there is hierarchy – they are decided.

why they are decided the same line, the same family?

Guruji: because of the karmic debt!

then why there are rituals to invoke the certain spirit in the family?

Guruji: by the great tapas you’re able to invoke the very powerful spirit: a lineage will become very divine and powerful.

so you can invoke not only previous generation but someone very ancient?

Guruji: very high, yes. If you’re strong enough to invoke.

If they take money from me – they will have to come back and pay. I have no family – so they will continue to be my servants in generations to come. Hypothetically it can happen( smiling)

JOURNEY OF KRIYA YOGA

The mother's curse and breaking the habit

but still if in regression the very strong things are coming – lime mother’s curse?

Guruji: it is the strongest curse.

can it continue for several lives?

Guruji: maybe 7 plus lives.

so what to do with it?

Guruji: it will pass out in 7 lives. We’re carrying the genes of our mother: as long as 7 generations are remain – we’re going through 7 different births – the curse may follow. After 7 births it will end.

there is another tricky thing: what if the same person is receiving the same pattern - not in one life, but in next life?

Guruji: that’s why I keep saying: break the habit! Because every time we keep repeating the same things, same habits. We need to break it: only then we may come out of these things; - if we begin to understand them. If you begin to see and understand that – that means you’re already on the way of breaking the habit.

if I understand the pattern – whatever connection will form and what things will follow…

Guruji: so you can overcome: you’re already practicing yoga. It is because of your practicing you realize it: this way or that way and make a conclusion.

sometimes we even have no courage to admit that?

Guruji: we should have enough courage to admit that. What we are done – we are ready to face. And there is great wisdom in every mystery or bad karma: we just need to be able to see that. No habit – no repetition .

JOURNEY OF KRIYA YOGA

Pitri dosha, valid curses, and the yogi among relatives

if I the chart Rahu is conjoined with the Moon or the Venus – it indicates towards this curse?

Guruji: not curse – they say pitri dosha. It’s common thing all over the world. Show me, how many parents are there, who never cursed their child? That will take place nowadays, not suddenly one time.

but it will remain for 7 lives?

Guruji: no more than that, but no less.

even if you practice yoga?

Guruji: that means you’re already nearly out of the curse – if you begin to practice it. Ordinary people are not practicing.

if Rahu is conjoined with the Sun – it’s from the father’s side?

Guruji: pitris are both, from father and mother’s side. You ask Chetan Gajkesari: he is writing the book on pitri dosha and gajkesari yoga – it will be the only book on this subject. It’s not only with Rahu and Ketu – also debilitated planets and many other things, it’s a big topic.

what will be the behavior of mother and father in next life – if they curse their child?

Guruji: you see, there is one thing – sometimes people curse without any valid reason: that curse will never stick to you. But if you’re really done something to hurt – it may stick for some time. Remember, everything in this creation is a temporary thing. Nothing is permanent.

You have to take an objective view.

it’s useless to regret if we cannot fix anything…

Guruji: … but you can learn out of it, that’s the point. For every wisdom you need to pay.

We keep repeating our habits – and that’s such a vicious circle, very few people are able to understand it. If they can – they can get over it.

but people are programming themselves?

Guruji: the moment you begin to see that it’s a habitual pattern – then you stop scratching the scrape – and it will heal. Sometimes past life regression helps – if it is hidden too well to understand: that’s the real curse – or maybe a blessing.

will you remember it without going to regression, with yoga practice?

Guruji: you will remember everything in time. It will take longer time – when we are ready. When you’re strong enough to see yourself. In regression you maybe not like that.

the strongest curse is in the death moment – if someone dies, cursing you?

Guruji: if someone remembers you – it may not be a curse.

when we start to practice yoga, usually relatives starts to hate us much more?

Guruji: it actually happens if you’re not reacting or behaving like they think you should – then they confronted and some inferiority complex begin to develop. They try to confront you, make you angry, test you and annoying you. Initially most of the reactions are violent; then you move away – when you become wiser.

but for them it’s even more…

Guruji: that’s the story of Ugly Duckling by H.K. Anderson.

in this case they can curse the yogi, no?

Guruji: curse comes if somebody is deeply hurt in the heart. Simply when jealousy or animosity – the curse is not valid. When it is the deepest pain in the heart – the curse will have some effect.

if someone is constantly in the state of jealous to the yogi?

Guruji: his curse will not affect you. But he may to harm you somehow. Acts are not curses – so you can give him back. Usually very well placed kick works.

LOVE IS FOR THE WISE

Everything what you do will come back to you (expanded)

EVERYTHING WHAT YOU DO WILL COME BACK TO YOU

question about the murder: because in Bhagavad Gita Krishna is saying that all the people are already killed by the Time. So when you’re on the stage of the development when you see all of them like already dead – the murder doesn’t become too bad thing?

Guruji: it will become bad thing – because Time will kill them anyway, nobody is immortal. But if you will kill them before their time - that is not a good thing. Until unless it’s a challenge, dwell or some war or battle.

Krishna deliberately made Arjuna to make a bad thing?

Guruji: of course. But he was preparing for bad thing for 14 years.

any murder considers as a sin and bad deed?

Guruji: because this person will not survive after some years – he will die anyway. So why fasten the process? Until unless he’s threatening to kill you or your family or your friend.

so what will be then: karma will follow? Or some higher being will punish you? If you’re acting against the Time and kill someone?

Guruji: what you will do – will come back to you.

how all the nature or Universe decides the equality of the responsibility? If you kill someone – you will be killed anyway?

Guruji: no, you will suffer in some other way. They are worse things to be murdered or killed. I’ve seen too much of types so. It is good to remain quiet.

the laws of Nature or Universe – they somehow balance all the deeds and all the actions?

Guruji: nobody knows, what are the laws of the Universe. Even Russian law or Indian law – it took many-many years to study them. Who will start to study the Universal laws?

but they exist?

Guruji: there has to be some, yes. Ignorance is bliss.

then the main thing which we must understand about karma is the responsibility?

Guruji: you should be intelligent enough to think on that. I’ve come across many criminals: it is not killing a person; it’s after that which follows. That is something. You perform the crime – ok, but what will follow after that crime? That gives you lot of problems.

consequences?

Guruji: yes, consequences.

so just to finish someone’s life it’s not so hard than the consequences which will follow?

Guruji: it will follow you. The law will follow you, someone will want to take revenge, so many possibilities will open. If somehow you escape law – then some other person will going to take revenge or something.

LOVE IS FOR THE WISE

Killing, deeds and Atit ghat

theoretically even killing maybe a good deed?

Guruji: if someone is trying to rape someone or kill someone you will intervene and in that fight you will kill him – it’s a good thing.

someone of Higher beings will see the situation and understand?

Guruji: they see. But if it’s a gang killing or killing for money – then consequences are going to be very severe.

there is the opinion that the good deeds could neutralize the bad deeds?

Guruji: bad deeds stand out. Good deeds don’t stand out – until unless it’s a dramatic good deed. Nobody will look at it.

that’s why I think mostly was created the notion of the charity: if you pay a lot of money for something – it will somehow wash up your sin?

Guruji: maybe sharing money may do something in this. Because most of the sins are committed for money and power. If you’re giving away your money – yes, it may help.

I remember Your disciple who was shot – and he said that no bad deeds can be neutralised by good one?

Guruji: you will have to face it, yes.

even if you will escape in this life time – after death you will be punished?

Guruji: yes. Until unless Atit ghat will take place; but a sinner will never think about Atit ghat.

the notions of Good and Evil were created by the society – but it exist the Universal Law…

Guruji: I think inside our heart we all know what is bad and what is good

yes, I was hunting for many years but every time I had the feeling inside that it’s wrong

Guruji: because you’re sensitive. I’ve planted 50000 jamun trees only for monkeys. Monkeys also have the same right to live as we have.

MANTRA / THE BODY REACHES MIND

ISKCON and the broken promise

if people from ISCON practice it for example for 5 years then stop?

Guruji: I’m sure they are not in peace. They should have thought before committing themselves. If you give your word – you have continue to do so. When you breaking your promise – your consequence everybody knows. That’s why hell is described in every religion. Person will punish himself. His confidence will be no more, he will never find peace and most of the prosperity will disappear – the “feel good” factor will disappear from his or her life.

Family karma and the fifty percent of destiny

Is it possible to step out from the family karma and to start something my own: doing yoga, asanas, reading books? Is it possible or we are all connected to the family?

A: It is definitely possible. First, you need to become aware that 50% of you is fixed – you cannot change your genetics, your DNA, your initial circumstances which you went through, your cannot change your blood relatives. This is 50% of your destiny. Once you begin to understand this and you are able to develop your mind that you can see beyond that and go beyond that, then you are free to create 50% of your own destiny. You can do it. Simply by understanding the limit of your family. First, you need to understand what is the limit, then you cross over it and be on your own.

RESPONSIBILITY

Responsibility, guidance, near-death report and lexical traps

RESPONSIBILITY

I think those people who are not ready to take responsibility of what they have done – they preach: just be, let everything else happen. Subconsciously or consciously they’re doing what they want to do.

I accept the responsibility what I have done, I’m not hiding away from that. You must face it. What’s the problem – no problem in that.

Once somebody asked: he was asking forgiveness from god of all the sins he has done? I said: if I will commit sin – I will face the consequences instead of asking god a favor to forgive me. I will face the result. What I have done – the results will come to me, good or bad.

how this statement, that you’re ready to take or responsibility of you do or you will do – it is coming after you know the whole creation and whole play of karmas?

Guruji: when you’re brave enough to accept this. Only the people, who are afraid of the results of what they have done – they ask for forgiveness.

you must know of the results you will achieve or you must be ready for any results?

Guruji: I think if you’re intelligent enough to understand, what you have done and what the result will be. So if the intelligent person will do exactly the things what results he would love to achieve. This knowledge will also develop along with that.

Ignorance is not innocence. And also innocence is not ignorance. We need to think on that more.

All religions says: that if you do bad karma – the bad results will come, if good karma – good results will come, and I will give you the third option: do romantic karma – you will get romantic results! Om Loveya Namaha!

SELF – REALIZATION IS THE GRACE OF THE GURU

Killers die violently; destiny and the 1971 war death

Killers

lived the violent life – so most of them died violently, in the war or

something. He died in the war in 1971 – Pakistan war; but he was born with the

strong impression that he may die in an accident. And he died in an accident;

he was always driving very slowly, very carefully – but the car came from

behind and crushed him. so that program that he will die in an accident was

there from the beginning. And he was the very peaceful man this time, staying

away from guns, he refused the option to join the army also; he remain the

salesman all his life. It’s the big contrast when you study both the lives.

he did so much efforts to avoid such death – but it happened?

Guruji: so it was destiny.

so it’s not possible to avoid it?

Guruji: no, you cannot escape your destiny.

It is the result of the karmas – so they will come. better to face them.

SIN; ENJOYMENT VS SUFFERING;

Karma, sin and suffering under SIN; ENJOYMENT VS SUFFERING;

SIN; ENJOYMENT VS SUFFERING;

we depend on our karma?

Guruji: the whole creation depends on that

we cannot stop our karmas?

Guruji: you’re the result of it. It is in your inherent basic nature. And basic instinct for sex – you need to survive. Sex is the only way to carry for your genetic record. This is the fear of death, which triggers this instinct inside us.

what do You think about 7 basic sins in Christianity?

Guruji: I don’t want to read about sins because it may start giving me some different ideas. I avoid reading about sins. So many ideas will come and you may want to try them also and new story will begin. Then you will be called SINcere.

it exist some rituals to purify the sin?

Guruji: in India there are so many rituals to purify you and before purification they read so long list of sins – not only seven, hundreds of them. To give you ideas; after seven sins what else remains. You can go and have purification all the time, no problem.

I think there are many more important things then just continuously thinking about sins. If you go by the religion, everything – if you smile, it is a sin. You can not escape. No matter what you do – you will enter the hell. It looks like big kitchen for heaven. All sinners cooked and prepared then served in heaven.

what do You think about: pleasure and suffering are equal teachers?

Guruji: I think pleasure is a better teacher.

You prefer that?

Guruji: I don’t like suffering much, yes.

do You think in learning suffering must be involved?

Guruji: suffering is involved in everything. When you need to get up early in the morning – it’s one type of suffering

that’s what Buddha was saying

Guruji: Buddha must tell it to the audience 2000 years before. There were no internet, no wifi, no television, no movies. Difficult to imagine, how people survived then. Buddha provide them another sort of entertainment. It’s all about entertainment. No printing press, no newspapers, no books. When Buddha was roaming the India – you know what was our population? Impossible to imagine: 3,5 million only. All country was empty. They were dying from boredom – and Buddha provide them the entertainment.

In Gwalior there is very ancient archeological site and there are hundreds of Shiva temples. Some of the people of my home town went there and one man was wearing t-shirt with my photo: they saw one very old man there – 115 years old. He said – o, I saw this man in 1945. And they found the stone statue about 1,5 meters – his hand was like holding a bow, but bow was broken: 90% he resembles me. I don’t know, what to comment on that. When I was wearing the cloth around my head – the rumor begin that Ashwatthama is coming back and he’s hiding his stone on a forehead. Then I remove it.

THE STRONGEST PUNISHMENT

The strongest punishment — deception, karma and forgiveness

THE STRONGEST PUNISHMENT

What karma follows if someone is deceiving the other in the pair?

Guruji: The theory says: he’s deceiving himself. Because the person, who has enough faith in you and you think you’re deceiving that person – it is wrong, you’re deceiving yourself. The karma follows the one who is deceiving.

But it doesn’t create some troubles and suffering?

Guruji: A lways, complications will follow.

But it also brings suffering to the man who was deceived?

Guruji: He may get over it; but final punishment will be for the deceiver. Because he will have to live with himself after it. That is the biggest punishment.

Is that kind of person – cowards, as we discussed before?

Guruji: A coward is not deceiving- if he's a great warrior and running away from the battle.

What do You think: if there are children in such pairs – better just not to see someone deceive and live like nothing happened?

Guruji: It is very rare Paramahamsa who can actually forgive; he may adjust with that situation. Forgiving – I don’t think it’s possible.

So the only punishment – he or she will face himself?

Guruji: And the deceiver will lose a friend, which is a very big setback.

Karmic relationships are very hard to understand: today you’re friends, tomorrow someone will deceive you – you’re no more friends?

Guruji: In human society it’s absolutely normal behavior. It’s a depressing topic.

Karma, Purging of Sins, and Yoga

Karma, Purging of Sins, and Yoga

Rare find anahada.com/articles/2009/12/karma-purging-of-sins-and-yoga — Wayback capture 2 Dec 2024. The page states “Conversation recorded on: June 26th, 2004”; posted Dec 2009 (by the URL).

Q: “Guruji, so many books say doing pranayam cleanses one of all the sins. How does it work?”

Guruji: “On the surface level, sins and merits/virtues don’t change. But the sins get cleansed in a different manner. As I’ve said earlier, our body is made of menstrual blood. This has already been established. And a woman menstruates 432 times in 36 years. The more pranayam we do, the more we overcome the limits of menstrual blood, and that is called bhuta shuddhi (purification of elements), and that is called cleansing of sins. Using the word sin doesn’t really convey the correct meaning here. It narrowly means an adverse social behavior. But think of sin as our limitations, such as bodily impurities or the dormant talent or infinite possibilities hidden inside of us. When we understand all that and limitations completely go away, that is actual cleansing of sins.

“Nobody recognizes the truth that everybody is made of raja – menstrual blood. And when a female is menstruating, she is considered impure by religion. That’s why Christians also say you are born in sin. We are not! We just have to touch the limit of internal refinement of the body. Refined body leads to refined mind resulting in tremendous expansion of consciousness. That is essentially cleansing. Otherwise mostly all sins and merits are no more than social behavior in some sense. Society developed, and to keep it disciplined, laws were created. But as we’ve already established, dharma (religious law, righteousness) means career1. For yogis, dharma will always mean something else.

“You know the clean and peaceful feeling after yoga practice; we are already getting cleansed. We are fighting our own limitations, not any sins or merits. See, until we overcome our limitations, our point of view will remain limited. That’s the important thing. That’s the real motivation for doing yoga, and people start running after it instinctively, because it is in our genetic record somewhere, and our soul has a impression of it. When we make progress, we understand why are we actually doing it. The old song of Gita Dutt describes the situation exactly:
