DEFINITION OF THE TERM “IMAGINATION”
when we’re here near You – the mind is like opening; otherwise it is silent
Guruji: but then exposure of society is there; but you will all be extraordinary in society. You’re not ordinary people. Yes, including you (laughing)
our imagination can help us in astral?
Guruji: it’s like a mental world: whatever you will think or your power of your mind will support you there. If you learn to control your imagination - and to develop it at the same time- it’s fantastic thing!
in what stage of development all that yogi can to imagine will come to reality?
Guruji: this is happening – but it is taking a longer time; we imagine something, you work for it – and it is real.
so in the physical world it’s impossible: you just mention something – and it became real?
Guruji: if your mind will become that powerful – why not?
can You say that all Your imagination now is only because of the development of Your mind?
Guruji: I think so many things you have to consider: genetics also, and your exposure to the world from early childhood to later years – that will feed your imagination. And what is imagination? All consciousness is in the Void; so from that consciousness you’re taking certain part of it and giving a certain image to it. Giving image to something, which is formless can be called imagination.
We talked a lot about imagination; but to understand – what is imagination; today we defined it.
what we can say about people with lack of imagination?
Guruji: they are sitting on the shore of the ocean, afraid to dive. They are afraid subconsciously, genetically. No spirit of adventure. And what can define the spirit of adventure? One line: let us see, what will happen. And go! ( smiling)
as I understand we can create nothing – because everything is already in the Void?
Guruji: we just take something and put some image to it.
that image: from where we’re taking it?
Guruji: our exposure to the world. We cannot imagine something which is not there before in the memory of the creation.
so we cannot imagine something totally new?
Guruji: no; it is all there! All memories, all experiences are well-preserved. We just somehow exposed to it; we think – this is our thought: and new thought come and go.
so creativity is only like mixing the parts of the creation?
Guruji: but if you go beyond all these things and you’re tuned with the consciousness of the Void; then maybe you will have some real imagination.
Original imagination. Let us see, what will happen! Remember: Brahma, the creator – he remembered! And the creation begins.
Everything is already there! How you adjust it, how you make it different portions and mix them together – that is up to your imagination.
so we take the idea from the Void, then we take the image from our subconsciousness?
Guruji: image we take from the vast memory bank of the creation.
