The most nonviolent beings on our planet are vultures. They never kill anyone. They never fight among themselves. They are established in ahimsa.

Vulture is a patient bird. If somebody is about to die, it will just wait patiently till he is dead, never hurrying his death. When I first came here, more than 100 vultures lived on the roof. I have never seen them fighting. They were very calm and quiet and they were not afraid of anybody.

Once we witnessed a meeting of vultures, I even have some photographs left. More than 400 vultures came here, then their king landed who was one and a half times bigger than an average vulture. He took three sips of water and flew away. And one by one all of them also flew away. We have never seen any vulture here after it. And in 10 days the last raja was cremated on that very spot of vultures’ meeting. Maybe they knew something which we don’t know.

life and they have not lost their innocence. Also, they are still living in Eden Garden. They are not aware of their nakedness.

ON SNAKES-DUMAI

I was told by snake charmers that a two-headed snake, dumai, is considered very auspicious. If you see it on Diwali – it brings prosperity in your surroundings. They say that dumai was a highly poisonous snake. When raja Parikshit was cursed by the king of the snakes, Takshak, the Royal serpent sent one dumai to bite Raja. As the snake was entering through the chimney to the kitchen, some food accidentally fell into the snake ’ s mouth, and it said: “ Now I have eaten his food – I will not bite him.” So the snake returned back, and Takshak went to bite Raja himself. I ’ ve never heard of somebody who was bitten by dumai. They lost their poison.

MYSTICAL STORY / COBRAS

King cobras were found even in Egypt. If you will bury at least 1,25 kg of gold in the ground – you will also become a cobra. In Egypt they were all buried with treasures. After being king cobra for 1000 years they will be very next to Shiva. Remember, upward triangle – exactly pyramid shape – is the symbol of Shiva.

how cobras can do some penance or tapas?

Guruji: actually they don’t eat insects or rats, just lick a few dew drops and survive by drinking vayu. We have seen such snakes here; when they become 250 years old – moustaches come out. We found two there and I was able to cut one hair of his moustaches. When they reach 500 years of age – they get the ability to fly. Usually they fly here in the rainy season. Every villager in this area know that if you will sleep in the open in rainy time –you may get paralytic. Because if a cobra will fly over you and the shadow fall on you – that particular part get paralyzed. It is curable, but it exists. Then cobras become 1000 years old – the jewel inside the head forms, which gives him magical powers – the ability to change their shape and to do anything; then they become very close to Shiva. Jewel forms inside the head of the cobra; some people say – they can bring it out from his mouth, move around and then take it again inside. As long as it stay inside the cobra – nobody could kill him. they go on living indefinitely. I’ve noticed as they change their skin every year, one time remove it – they length become shorter; finally the stage come when no skin will come out. Finally they have not a big size – but they get the ability to shape-shift.

when You cut the moustache – it was the real hair?

Guruji: yes, green and grey in color. And they grow upwards.

that particular shape of the cobra means something?

Guruji: they show it only if they confronted or if they are happy. Otherwise they remain normal. They take such shape before attacking or communicating.

have You seen that cobra from puja again?

Guruji: no, he was very special. He was moving very slowly, stay in the temple more than 10 hours and the very intoxicating fragrance were coming from him, very heavy. He was already in the temple and when I started damaru – he take that shape. One thing we noticed – there was no mark on him which is normal for any cobra. He was absolutely black, like polished and shining. His eyes were sparkling like diamonds. He was spotless.

It was before we found Shiva. Me and Mahatmaji were sitting on that veranda, it was very heavy rains. Suddenly we heard “boom” sound and something fell from the sky. I told him went into the rains and he brought this thing – it was very big cherepah. He was unconscious, we put him on the floor thinking he’s dead; but after half an hour he brought out his head. We still don’t know. What happen – he came with rains or something. And some years before – maybe in 1996 – thousands and thousands of small frogs fell with the rains. They were everywhere – maybe millions of them. Then after many-many earthworms came: we saw in every cm one earthworm in the soil. Then they disappeared – but the land become very fertile and it’s all green. I can understand that very small frogs with the rain – but from where this very big cherepah came – we still don’t know. The snakes were overfeed: they were eating and eating all frogs. Frogs and earthworms were coming after the flood – at the last week of june. We were underwater at least three months.

that time python came?

Guruji: it was like adventure: I never heard any man who was hit in navel by any python when the flood was coming. Unique extraordinary story. 2 nd October: we were celebrating our bull’s birthday – python came out and went into veranda – I had him caught with the snake charmers. He was not very big one – but nearly 40 kilos. The length was little bit more than 4 meters: 14 feet.

have You caught pythons after that case in this area?

Guruji: many times: even in 2016 we have caught 6 big pythons. The biggest we have caught was about 8 meters: snake charmers told me that she’s female; now female is gone – no more children coming, no more python there. Forest department couldn’t do anything and said we must call the snake charmers. They chanted some mantras on pebbles and throw it to her: she went like semi-unconscious – then they caught her. She was very heavy – more than 100 kilos. It took 5-6 men to carry her.

so snakes are not deaf, they’re hearing mantras?

Guruji : magic works on everybody .

SOYRCE IS ONE

I had a dog and we called him the dna tester because he bite more than 100 people. He died at the age of 18 – which is pretty long for a dog. When he was in his prime – he will go out, fight with another dogs and bring a dead of a goad and bring them to me; that was his way of showing his love. When I was sick he was always besides me.

EUTHANASIA FOR THE ANIMALS

Euthanasia of an animal due to its suffering and, possibly, imminent death. How ethically justifiable is it?

Guruji: I don't recommend it. Take care of him to the end. Even then he wouldn't like to die.

As a friend take good care of him till the last breath. Uh, two of my dogs live up to nearly 20 years old.

And in the last one or two months they were suffering. But we took care of them till the last breath.

We simply cannot abandon just like that.

People are more worried about their own disturbance not up for the animal.

That's the main thing. Oh, they go to heaven directly.

I cannot imagine heaven without good dogs.

Not for me.

They are absolutely living a very natural way of life. And they have not lost their innocence also, they are still living in Eden Garden. They are not aware of their nakedness.

PRACTICE AND PETS

I’ve noticed that cats, dogs, even my monkey – they love the feeling of yoga practice. I start my practice – and my dogs fall down and start to snoring. Even my monkey goes to sleep.

the vibrations of secrecy?

Guruji: cats are very good in keeping secrets.

if the snake bite a person – his body also will not destroy?

Guruji: they are never cremated; they are supposed to be a sort of coma – they are always buried or put in the river. It is recorded, that some time they come back.

why they are not cremated?

Guruji: because they are considered not dead – being in a very deep coma and there is a chance they might be revived. Some we have heard and seen – revived. Usually they are put into the river: snake charmers are pulling body from the river and sometimes they are able to revive them.

what happens with their consciousness after such experience?

Guruji: they remember everything and there is a complication here; recently in the village nearby two teenagers were bitten by cobra. They were put into the river. After ten years they came back with the snake charmers. They stay outside of the village in a temple: then they went to their home – their father, mother and others recognize them. When they came to see the snake charmers – snake charmers said: now they are our sons. We have given them new life. It is a rule: once we have revive someone – we have to put them home one time to see everybody and to say good-bye. Their families were happy because they’re still alive. But they never stay with the family after that – they become snake charmers. This story was even on the news channels. I have seen three such cases. If there is no river – then they are buried. And they are not living like sadhus: they married in their tribe – they are accepted as a members of the tribe. They are called sons of the snake charmers, who brought them back.

can You describe the scent of that big cobra?

Guruji: no, because I’ve never smell something like that. Even that snake which appeared in Shiva temple – very different but very peculiar intoxicating smell, very sweet. But it cannot be compared. Very subtle and intoxicating. I’ve never seen a cobra moving so slow. After 7-8 days I felt the smell again – but I’ve never saw him more. My sister even went and touch him in the temple – he didn’t move.

One of my dogs play here with some invisible person. And when someone call him – he refuse to go and continue to play with someone who was not seen. It was the great effort to drag him upstairs.

Q- There is such a fruit called avocado, I’m not sure avocado grows in India. Will you allow me to bring some avocado sprouts to have them planted in your garden?

A-Yes, please, give it a try. Thank you.

LOVE STORY…

…about 15-16 years before we were doing Shiva puja in the morning and some pigeons come. As I will throw rice – they will eat them; they were not afraid of damaru sound – they were walking about and we continue to do what we do. Sometimes one pair of pigeons were coming – the male and female. Then only they remains – other pigeons stop coming, but they were coming every day. The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen – like true love or care, whatever you call; the female pigeon – she has no feet. Maybe she caught some virus, and she has no claws, only stick-like legs remain. She was walking on them and whenever she will lose balance – the pigeon will come and support her. It was something! They continuously coming for 2 or 2,5 years then stopped or maybe something happened. That was extremely remarkable, touching, and romantic also. Then I think that all beings can love and care too.

MISTICAL STORY BITTEN BY SNAKE

I will tell you a real story. In this area there is a class of snake charmers and those who cure from the snake poison: they are called bayagirs and they are real knowledgeable people. There are times when someone was bitten by the snake and they are called and they somehow stop poisoning from spreading. Then they call that particular snake spirit into that bitten man and the spirit of the snake enters into a man or woman who have been bitten and they discuss. And the discussion go – why have you bitten? Then the negotiation goes on and most of the time they are successful. The snake comes, suck out his own poison and goes away.

And about 17-18 years before in a village nearby Govardhan it was one person: he was bitten by snake 17 times. Why are you laughing, it’s just a beginning of the story. Every time some bayagir will come, who will save him. then again snake cobra came and bite him. then bayagir called their Guru, who was a very old man. Then he invoked the spirit of the snake, who was biting him so regularly. That was fantastic story which came up: that person has murdered his wife, she incarnate as female cobra and she was biting him to take revenge. He even told them – you see, murderer himself is talking, spirit is inside him, he is not aware; and she told him: he murdered me with a tool of farming, spare, and he buried me there in particular place. Then the thing was done, he was taken to that spot and they found the remains of the wife there. Then all the bayagirs said: now we will not help this man, he is a sinner; and then the 18 time the snake bitten him – that was that.

It is a true story, it was in all local newspapers. In grassroots level people there are many different masters. They may not be philosophers but they have true wisdom, very practical knowledge.

…There was one special breed of hawk, the one which is usually hovering in one place, looking down. When it would see a mouse it would dive down and catch the prey. So one of my disciples was there, and he ran to save the mouse. I said: “What are you doing? The hawk may die of hunger. The Nature has created mice as food for that bird… If this mouse is your pet, then go out and fight with that hawk for the safety of your pet. Otherwise do not disturb the balance.”

Living on the farm, I learned not to interfere in the ways of the Nature; the more we interfere, the more disturbances we create.

LEADER COBRA

We thought that we should take the dirt from canal drain and put it here – so the road will come. we called one JSB machine, bulldozer and he began to dig; and with every bucket hundreds of cobras, like noodles were coming from the ground. The work was stopped, everybody ran away, we were locked them inside; - more than thousand cobras.

Then one very peculiar cobra appeared: he was only 1,5 feet but with very big hood – and he was not creeping, he was jumping. He went – and all cobras followed him; and he disappeared in the drain again. There was no previous history that so many cobras will come up, there was no feeling – but they are in the soil.

Then I called my snake charmers friends, knowledgeable and wise people and I asked them – what type of cobra he is? Then they told a very strange thing: every year the cobra sheding its skin, and every time the thickness of the skin cause he is reducing in his length. After several centuries it comes to the point that he sheds no more skin and he becomes 1,5 feet or so; and he becomes the leader of the different cobras.

We saw him also- I never knew it. When government was making this road they also dig the soil – and hundreds of cobras were in every bucket.

Guruji: in India such people becomes snakes. In the next life. Most of the snakes discovers the hidden treasures and just live on them. We have seen some cases. You remember my theory about pharaoh’s treasures: they believe that in next life they will become cobras. There was no snake worshipping in Egypt – but every pharaoh had cobra on his head. And small tunnels were also discovered in pyramids – if you become snake, you can come and go. And cobras considered as the nearest to Shiva; you can do the great tapas in the form of cobra. And if the cobra do some great tapas, no eating anything, just licks some drops of water – in 250 years the moustaches began to grow on her face. And we seen one here and I even cut one hair of moustache from him – now it is keeping upstairs, it has green and grey color. And then after 500 years doing this tapas the snakes became able to fly. And they start flying. And mostly they fly in the rainy times – and it is India, and it is forbidden to sleep that time outside. Because if the snake will fly over you and her shadow lie on you – that particular part will paralyzed. And if the snake will continue this tapas for 1000 years – then the very strong jewel develops inside him, which gives him supernatural powers and he can convert himself into human being or any form he wants. Then another form of tapas start from that point. That’s why most of them are considered to have supernatural powers. They are very near to Shiva and very near to the supernatural world – I mean they are in both worlds at the same time. But the only main things of the tapas – they must not bite anyone. They should keep the vermin inside and their poison convert into their Shakti.

Q: but why Egyptians worshipped the cats?

Guruji: cats are the carriers of the 52 forms of Bhairav. Maybe because they are going to be buried in the grounds – they had to worship cats. Without you pleasing Bhairav nothing of such things are impossible. They rule the grounds, the land. That’s why so much archeologists die, working with their mummies.

Indians are asked as to why they call cow as mother and on this point they are even ridiculed because Hindus at once cannot explain the rationale behind this.

When I acquired a field of cows it has slowly dawned upon me that association with mother cow is essential for undergoing penance.

In ancient times whenever an aspiring person approached a sage and made philosophical questions, the sage would give him some cows and ask him to return only when they would multiply up to a certain number like, say one thousand. Disciple would obediently follow. On his return the sage would give him an advice in a sentence and he would become knowledgeable.

The underlying mystery is that while doing service of the cows in the jungle and enduring on the diet of bulbs, roots, fruits and milk, a faculty of subtle thinking develops. Cows have a special effect of developing subtleness. Association with cows enriches the disciple with mental subtleness. Disciple becomes a telepath to a certain extent. He begins to understand the subtleties behind material objects. Cows possess a strong property of thought-transmission, which they transfer upon the disciple, who serves them by heart and then he becomes possessed of the capacity to understand the subtle abstractions underlying the manifestations of the nature and all creations. On his return when he approaches guru, he immediately understands the essence of his single line advice by the blessings of mother-cow and becomes a knower.
